"After reading the reviews, I can confirm that the Hyatt Centric is indeed as good as people say! 😁 The hotel breakfast offers a wide selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, including freshly made Chaoshan-style kway teow soup and fish dumplings – a nutritious start to power you up for the day! 😉 The room has a bright view with excellent natural light and is fully equipped with amenities like a capsule coffee machine and a Dyson hairdryer. The front desk service was excellent and very responsive. It's conveniently located just 1km from the Pearl River and 2km from Longyan South Road. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shantou! 🤗"

"Brought my parents to travel in Shantou and we booked two rooms in the Mehood Lestie Hotel. The hotel is right in the city centre which makes getting to the places of interest extremely convenient. The MixC shopping mall and the famous Longyan South night market are also within walking distance. We got a free upgrade to bigger rooms on the same floor, which is a plus point. The rooms are neat and clean, the environment is pleasant, and sound proofing is in place. We had a good night sleep and had no issues with noise whatsoever. The hotel also provides free tea at the lobby for guests to help themselves to. Overall, we are very satisfied with the hotel and service."

"The hotel is centrally located within a small park. The room facilities are excellent; it's a new hotel, so everything is brand new. Breakfast is delicious, and they also offer a lovely afternoon tea and evening desserts. The mini-fridge is well-stocked with a variety of drinks, and the hotel's own brand of tea is quite good – I asked and was told it's from their own group and currently hard to find. The 5th-floor restaurant offers a great view of the small park. The service attitude is excellent, and issues are handled promptly. There are thoughtful touches everywhere, like the ribbon tied around the tissues and the towel animals folded on the bed each night. The only slight drawback is that because it's in a scenic area, it gets quite bustling with people starting around 9 AM, and you can hear everything from the room. It doesn't quiet down until about 10 PM. However, since we tend to sleep in late, it wasn't too much of an issue for us."

Suggestion: They should do a better job checking for cleanliness; there were stray hairs, and the bath mat was dirty. "Very close to the high-speed train station. As soon as I booked the room, customer service reached out and patiently answered all my questions about dining and transportation. They were very enthusiastic and professional. Xiao Chen from the guest services department even arranged pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed train station. I booked in advance, and the driver patiently confirmed the departure time – very attentive and polite. Shantou Station round-trip transfer service for two: Excellent! Late check-out until 3 PM (subject to availability): Yes! They will try their best to arrange late check-out based on the actual situation."

"A delightful hotel surprise for our Shantou trip finale! The room offered fantastic views overlooking the ocean. The facilities were comprehensive, with a pool, restaurant, and gym – everything you could need. The swimming pool, in particular, had stunning scenery, and the changing rooms were clean and private! As a new hotel, it's also impeccably maintained. They even provide a Dyson hairdryer, child bed guards, and latex pillows. The staff were all very friendly, and breakfast was incredibly rich and varied! Tifany and Winnia at the front desk even gave us a parting gift as we checked out."
