"The room we booked was not anything like the photos advertised. I was so disappointed ! I felt very misled . The room was small and very tired looking. The layout just made the room feel difficult to use . The shower in my room had very poor water pressure , the cubicle itself was tiny ! I could barely move once inside. The bed was uncomfortable affecting my sleep . The room was not great ! We were charged over £3 for a can of coke at the bar and when I asked for some ice I was told they didn't have any in that particular bar ! We then saw other people taking their own drinks and food / take aways into the bar and using the bars plates etc .. We have never known hotels let you bring your own food and drink into the bar area . The breakfast was reasonable and offered a good selection of items . Full English and continental. The staff themselves were all lovely and very hard working . The staff were the best thing about the hotel . Always polite and happy to talk ."

"This was our second stay, and once again, it was absolute perfection. Everything is bright and clean. The family room was huge and full of thoughtful touches, like colouring books for the kids, homemade cookies waiting for us, slippers, robes, and a lovely coffee and tea station. So much variety for breakfast, and everything cooked to perfection. Games and toys for the kids meant we could sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while they played. We loved every minute and will very happily stay again next time we're at IoW."

The outdoor pool area, also beautifully secluded, sits within stunning gardens. I made the most of the glorious weather last week, relaxing poolside with a book and soaking up the calm. The Burrow has become my personal retreat, and I have already booked to return in both May and July this year — which I think speaks for itself. Chris and Kate complete the experience with their exceptional hospitality. Warm, kind and genuinely welcoming, they make you feel at home from the outset. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and their friendly, easy manner ensures every stay is comfortable, relaxed and memorable."

"En anden fantastisk ophold i Havelock.Værterne Paul og Vicky var utroligt velkommen og venlige, hvilket gjorde os føle hjemme fra det øjeblik, vi ankom. Hotellet var spotlessly ren overalt, og vores værelse var komfortabelt og velovervejet af den smukke husholderske ☺️ morgenmad var fantastisk, med et stort udvalg af frisk kogt mad til at starte dagen, og Holly gjorde et fantastisk stykke arbejde ved at sikre sig Fødevarer blev bragt ud på en rettidig måde og borde renset asap.Beliggenheden er også ideel – tæt på alt, hvad du har brug for, og perfekt til at udforske øen Wight. Vi ville ikke tøve med at blive her igen og ville anbefale Havelock til nogen, der leder efter en afslappende og sjov ophold."

"Vi ankom den 4. juni den dag, hotellet led af en familiebedrag.Damen på receptionen var meget venlig og hjælpsom, da restauranten var lukket for vores ophold.Værelse var meget stille med smuk udsigt til havet. Vi gik til Fisherman s pub s shanklin fremragende valg, der også middage på checkout-huset meget pænt.Tom på receptionen var meget hjælpsom til at hjælpe med middagsvalg, kogt morgenmad meget pænt. Vi nydte vores fire nætters særlige tilbud om ophold og ville blive igen.Vi vil gerne tilbyde vores kondolence og takke medarbejderne for at lede efter os."
