We traveled in the off-season and reserved the viewing platform. It was great to watch the stars at night, and the view in the room was also great. The staff was very good, and they started to boil water and heat the electric heater before we arrived. The hardware cannot be compared with hotels in the city, but the location and scenery can make me ignore this."

During my two-night stay, I not only went horseback riding, but also followed the owner's guide to a canyon hike, exploring the forest and river, picking mushrooms, and photographing the stars! The owner was very thorough and answered every question! The canyon behind the mountain is beautiful, and it feels like you're in Hemu Village in a flash! The star-filled sky at night is truly stunning. If you have a group, you can go to the grasslands together to enjoy the starry sky, which is even more beautiful. Just be sure to dress warmly! I personally think Shandan Military Horse Farm is worth visiting and would definitely return if I had the chance!"

The front desk was welcoming, the room was clean, and the bedding was new. There's a restaurant downstairs that serves home-style cuisine, making it a great value overall. The only downside was that the two pillows were a bit soft, so I'd recommend replacing them with one firm and one soft. The rapeseed blossoms along the way to the horse farm were beautiful!"

"The only hotel in the military horse farm, the twin room with a view we stayed in was not in the cabin, but in the small bungalow behind the cabin. It doesn't look as good as the cabin, but the room is spacious and suitable for parents and children. One of the beds is 1.5 meters long and the shower has a large amount of water. The dinner dishes at the military horse farm are good, especially the boiled lamb, which is the best lamb I have ever eaten, with a milky fragrance. It was cloudy at night, and I didn't see the sky full of stars, but I saw Starlink unexpectedly. The only thing to complain about is that I didn't ride a horse at the military horse farm. The horses were all booked by a team the day before. We drove to the Luanniao Lake Observation Deck by ourselves, and there was very little water. We went down to Kulong Gorge by ourselves and saw cute marmots."
