"From Samaria to Livikon is a simple hotel with an amazing location. The balcony has wonderful views and was a nice place to have morning coffee or an evening beverage. The room was modest but clean and worked well for our family of 4; we prefer to adventure rather than spend time in our hotel room, so this worked well for us. We spent time in 3 places on Crete and Sfakia was simply the best; access to gorges and secluded beaches, with a super chill pace, we wished we had more time there. The staff were warm and friendly and we very much enjoyed talking about the history and natural beauty of the region with Giannis. I hope that we can make it back someday!"

"Perfect location in this corner of heaven. From check in to check out the service was amazing. The room was lovely, comfy bed, kitchen and awesome shower. Don’t use the hot tub but with a beach on the doorstep why would you!"

"The hotel is a 5 minutes up the hill of the restaurant area of Sfakian, parking is in front of the hotel. We had a room with a balcony and a nice sea view, the furniture was very simple but everything worked well. Breakfast was ok. There is a swimming pool but we did not use it."

"At night we were bitten by bedbugs in bed, and there were many cockroaches running around the floor. In the restaurant we found a cockroach in a plate and choked on a hair. The hotel and restaurant are in terrible unsanitary conditions. We were very afraid that we would catch a disease that these insects carry. The hotel and restaurant require complete sanitization. Get rid of them!"
