"The resort truly feels like a village. So peaceful and serene that I could just sit at any parts of the property and feel calm. The service was excellent, esp to the staff at Lotus Cafe who catered to my every request. Reason for rating 4 stars and not 5 is because the toilets/bathrooms need upgrading/refurbishing. We stayed at the 3 bedroom villa with private pool, and the toilets and bathrooms in those villas were old and flimsy. Take a quick shower as the hot water is not a steady stream and goes hot and cold."

"It was a pleasure to stay at Yabbiekayu. An easy Gojek ride from the centre of Yogjakarta I can not recommend it enough. The bungalows are set in their own little courtyards around the beautiful garden. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and clean and have lovely hot water outdoor bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A beautiful place to relax after a day in the city. And we walked the doggos! Twice! Don't hesitate."
