"We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at this hotel. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, from check-in to dinner service. One night we got back extremely late, yet the staff stayed waiting to serve us dinner. Special thanks go to Aisa, who looked after our dinners every evening. She was so attentive and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. The room was a bit small and there's no pool, but it's a very cozy guesthouse. The hotel has an underground parking garage, though the entrance is quite small. The views from the first floor are absolutely beautiful. Right outside the hotel, you can hop on a cable car. This cable car takes you up, and from there it's just a 10-minute walk to the Dantercepies cable car. This route is a bit off the beaten path, but it takes you directly to the summit, and the scenery is breathtaking!"

"An absolutely fantastic family operated hotel, with real class and history. Great service all around, food was really good and location worked well. Definitely would go again. Staying in a suite with a roll-away: note the roll-away is really not suitable for people over 170 or 70kg. Primarily for youths."

"Hotellet opfylder forventningerne på alle niveauer.Servicen er meget professionel fra ankomst til frontdesk, efterfulgt af mad- og drikkeafdelingen og videre til støttepersonalet. Vi tog fire værelser i en uge, og mine voksne børn havde hver et øverst værelse, der var i den nyere wing, hvoraf hver var stor og smukt udpeget. En havde en enorm terrasse og to havde store balkoner, som var alle perfekte for sent eftermiddagssol.På den anden side tog vi en Dolomites suite, som blev sat på et hjørne var en mærkelig form og fik ikke solen i slutningen af dagen. Mens det var et stort rum med 2 badeværelser og et separat opholdsområde, kunne jeg virkelig ikke lide orienteringen.En ren personlig grip, men sengen og væggen, der stod for den, var ved en mærkelig tangent.Jeg troede også, at den elektriske ild var lidt unødvendig. Hvis du vil medtage en brand, så lav den som i Almhof Schneider i Lech.Et overordnet værelse kan være bedre end suiten. Værelserne var altid spotless opbygget på vores tilbagekomst fra en dag på gulvet og slukket service altid en dejlig touch.Drikkevarer i baren før middag var altid gode, og restaurantens oplevelse under Nadia s tilsyn var impeccable. Min datter er intolerant over for mange ting, og intet var for meget problemer for Nadia eller køkkenet.Den daglige middagsvalg er enorm. Da vi forlod hotellet, kaldte receptionen, at vi havde efterladt nogle bagage i et af værelserne, og en af deres chauffører kørte mod os, da vi kørte tilbage til hotellet, som var yderst nyttigt. Generelt er dette et fantastisk 5-stjernede hotel, der leverer på alle niveauer.Enhver negativitet i min vurdering har meget mere at gøre med min personlige præference end direkte kritik. Den skioplevelse i Selva er hidtil over de mere velkendte og populære ski resorts i Frankrig og Østrig.Så uden tvivl vil vi være tilbage næste år."

"Hotel centrally located in the village. Hotel ok, nice bar/lounge area, bedrooms fairly basic, robes & slippers provided but toiletries are from dispensers (similar to Premier Inn style). Staff efficient but not particularly friendly except for the lovely waitress in the bar. Food menu unusual. The curtains in our room didn't cover all the windows so woken early. Didn't realise there were some blinds as no information advising this, only found out the day before we left! Good resort for skiing, so many runs."

"NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL! It was one of my favorite hotels in the world 15 years ago. But it is now a two to three start hotel. Because: The mother and father who were original owners have retired, and they were fabulous. The staff is not that great in customer service, and service levels are very weak. They are not training well, or not hiring the top tier staff. Front desk, bartenders, restaurant food for 1/2 board not good. The breaksfast foods were stale, they leave some of items uncovered out, and I saw them in the morning and at night. Thus, the marshmellows, and toppings are stale. The rooms are hot, they were hot in June and they are hot in October, I don't care that they are int he mountains, they should have air conditioning in a 5 start place. The spa used to be great, now, "We have a new sauna, but it is ONLY OPEN FROM 4-8." Exactly during dinner time. So, there goes my day of hangin out in a fancy spa and pool all day. The hotel room i had was huge, with a great view. Just becasue they have a michellin star restaurnat and a light in the closet, the vanity is made out of plastic and small, the shower, doens't have a proper door, so floor gets wet. The place used tto have free snacks at happy hour. Not anymore, there is a cost. It is no inexpensive for what you get, Stay in Ortessi, or somewhere else. The place used to have activites and people to take you on hikes as a group. They called for a guide to take me out and the cost was close the 300 dollars for a couple of hours. This shouldn't be a leading hotel of the world anymore. It needs to be torn down, and re-done, and new trained staff brought in. So sad!!! I've stayed at other leading hotels of the world and the hotels and staff are ten times better! Go to Lake Garda or Bologna leading hotels and see 5 star service. Don't go stay here, for the price and what you get- NOT WORTH IT! For two hundred dollars a night, I'd go back, but not for what I paid."

"Gorgeous renovated hotel. Luxurious upholstery and furnishings everywhere. The spa includes indoor and outdoor pools and multiple saunas. Meals were good. Cozy intimate bar, The hotel staff is kind and attentive. Surrounded by gorgeous mountains and trails."

"Very welcoming owner. Cleanliness is one of their priorities, good breakfast. The room was a bit dated, but that's part of the charm of the place. We were there from January 23rd to January 31st, 2026… nothing but positive things to say, signed Canadians"

"Of the six hotels that we stayed at on our trip, the Hotel Continental was, by far, our favorite. The location is excellent, up a small hill above town (so better mountain views) but an easy 10 minute walk to the heart of Selva. It's also a short 15 minute walk to the gorgeous Vallunga trail. We'd booked a junior suite for our anniversary and were blown away by how spacious and beautiful it was. There was a generous amount of closet space and cubbies for storage, an elegant bathroom, a couch and - best of all - that view! The bed faced the balcony with an absolutely stunning view of the mountains. There were so many small touches that made the experience, from bedside chocolates to fluffy robes to a lovely scented almond soap. The staff were unfailingly kind and eager to help with any request from booking dinner reservations to recommending hikes to storing our bags while we spent a night at a rifugio. They have an on-site restaurant and a spectacular breakfast was included in our room rate. Espresso drinks, a juicer and fresh fruit to make your own juice, meats, cheeses, an array of pastries, granolas, yogurts, chia puddings, breads and local jams. In addition to all of that, you can order eggs, pancakes, and other hot dishes. Parking was complimentary and easy. The spa looked amazing but we got back from dinner too late to use it (it closes at 8pm). I cannot recommend this hotel enough and wish we'd booked it for our entire stay in the Dolomites. We also spent a night at Linder in their mountain view room (the "Newcomer South"), but the room size, decor and view were so much better at the Hotel Continental - and at a lower rate."
