"A Truly Terrible Getaway: Our 3-Night Stay at Lagoon Bay Our recent 3-night couple's stay at Lagoon Bay was, regrettably, a disaster from start to finish. This was particularly disappointing as it marked our third stay at one of their resorts, with our previous positive experience being at Celestial Suites. We had hoped for a relaxing escape, but instead, we were met with a series of unacceptable issues that made our vacation truly dreadful. Upon entering our initial room, the first thing we noticed was the used linen on the bed. It was immediately apparent that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests, a truly disgusting and unhygienic start to our stay. Adding to our discomfort, the room reeked of a heavy, pervasive insecticide. The chemical smell was so strong it was nauseating and made it difficult to breathe, let alone relax. We promptly requested a room change, hoping for an improvement. While we did get a different room, it presented its own set of problems. The most frustrating was the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. This led to constant humidity, condensation, and a lingering damp smell, making the bathroom feel perpetually unclean. Our in-room dining experiences were equally appalling. The menu offered extremely limited options, and the food itself was utterly devoid of taste. To add insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant for such low-quality fare, offering absolutely no value for money. The final straw, and perhaps the most shocking, was encountering a snake in the lagoon pool. This was a terrifying experience and a clear indication of a severe lack of maintenance and safety protocols. We immediately felt unsafe using any of the resort's facilities. Throughout this litany of complaints, the staff's attitude was consistently unhelpful and unapologetic. There was a complete lack of empathy or any sense of accountability from anyone we interacted with. It felt as though they couldn't care less about our discomfort or the numerous issues we raised. Overall, this resort felt less like a destination for a relaxing holiday and more like a place to simply "take a bath and leave with no memories" – and certainly no good ones. We would strongly advise against staying here if you're looking for anything more than a fleeting, regrettable pit stop. "

"Kranti Inn, is in the Vayupuri area of Secunderabad (I was booking a hotel in Medchal, but somehow this place is 18 kms from Medchal). Appears a new hotel, rooms are clean, and well appointed. They do not have a kitchen, so one must arrange his own food. There are plenty of options nearby. The staff are not professionals from the hospitality industry, but they are friendly and helpful. Decent option, if one has work in that area of town."
