"Unfortunately, this place completely disappointed us. We specifically booked a room with a mountain view, which the hotel charges extra for. However, instead of a mountain view, we ended up with a view of a staircase. Our room was 604, I guess we were even “lucky” not to get room 605, where the view is completely blocked by the stairs, yet it costs the same as a “view” room. The manager refused to change our room, even though I had informed the hotel in advance that we were on our honeymoon. The hotel made no effort to accommodate us. They had also promised a complimentary cake for our honeymoon, but that never happened either. The level of service is basically zero. At breakfast, when you ask for an omelet at the egg station, they simply forget about you unless you stand there and supervise the process. I had to remind them twice just to get two omelets made. We were so disappointed with the breakfast that my husband didn’t even go on the second day. There are plenty of cafes nearby where you can eat better food and be treated properly. Other downsides: the soundproofing is terrible, you can clearly hear neighbors and people in the corridor starting from 6 a.m. Also, the bathroom smells like cigarette smoke, even though the room is advertised as non-smoking. Last but not least, the photo on Google Maps is misleading: there is no swimming pool, even though this was one of my key criteria when choosing the hotel. Overall, a complete disappointment that is not worth the money, especially for a “view” room. There are other hotels nearby for the same price with much better service, views, and overall experience."

"Jeg så en masse anmeldelser, der nævnte insekter, men jeg havde det fint! Det var ikke helt insektfrit, men det var heller ikke voldsomt. Min kæreste kunne også rigtig godt lide det, haha. Han sagde endda, at han gerne vil besøge det igen! Morgenmaden er lækker, og personalet er venligt! Du kan også få en "Grab", så tag en! Det koster omkring 130.000-150.000 VND."

The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need, which made my stay as comfortable as being at home. I even extended my stay for another 2 nights, despite the rainy weather. The staff are welcoming, polite, and attentive. The breakfasts are delicious."

"We were really happy with our stay at Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel. The views from the hotel were absolutely amazing, and the staff were always so friendly, welcoming and happy to help whenever we needed anything. Breakfast had a huge variety of options, which we really appreciated. There was even a halal section as well as vegetarian options, which was a lovely surprise and made breakfast much easier for us. Our room was cleaned every day and all the amenities were regularly replaced, including things like toothbrushes, cotton pads and other essentials. Overall, we had a lovely and comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the beautiful views, helpful staff and excellent breakfast selection."

I had a facial at the Hotel Spa. Lets just say I enjoyed the head massage. Yea I know right - I booked a facial. Therapist was untrained, not wearing a mask (she was breathing on my face and let's just say her stomach was not good that day) Try out other treatment but stay away from facial. Please!"

"I did not like my view and also requested quiet room, my room was on the lowest 2nd floor, close to the street where the motorbikes go up and down to the town. I asked, if they had other room available, the answer was - “no, that was what I payed for”. Even when I have seen they have rooms with any guests. After that, I did not really want to boder with any question. if I would know, I would book only for 1night and would prolong it, or not.. In Sapa, there are plenty of options. I did not had any problem in other part of the Vietnam and I traveled from Ho Chi Minh up north from place to place. Other thing, as I stayed 3 night, I was expecting to get some room service, but that did not happen whole my stay. (meaning take of the trash, or feel up the soap, toilet paper) The plus was when I arrived, recieved the tea and when I left I got bag with water and bananas."

"This family-run hotel is bright, clean and close to everything ( the night market, the main area, and SAPA station are all walkable. ) Two of the male staff speak good English, and you can use what’s app to contact them. They always give quick responses. You can rent motorbikes, do the laundry, book bus tickets and so on at the front desk and they offer decent prices. All the staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful. They even offer us an early check-in because we take the night bus. You can leave the luggages there and when the room is ready they will send you messages. Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel."

"When we arrived at the hotel and in the room, everything seemed fine. But when night came, cockroaches started to appear everywhere, and there were even some in our luggage. We asked to change rooms and they quickly assigned us another one, but to our surprise, there were even more cockroaches. When we moved to a third room (on one of the upper floors), everything seemed clear, but once we were settled in, we heard rats running around in the false ceiling. Definitely a very bad experience that I will never repeat. The next day we changed hotels without any problem."
