"5 stars in Santander,the most prestigious hotel,not so modern,but if you know the history of its creation,you will come back again and again. It was built for the royal court when the royal family came to Magdalene Palace, which is at the bottom of the sea on the peninsula. Since then it is a place to gather all the nobles. Everything is measured and steadily, the public with money and age. Breakfasts are some of the best, especially if covered in the air, but it is like weather luck. The only minus is tired furniture, but I still have my charms here. There is an opportunity, take with the view of the sea (gulf). In the morning with the sunrise the view is incredible. To the center 15 minutes down the city, on the sea 20-25 on foot. Parking is own."

"The best thing about the place is the location, right next to Sardinero beach. We stayed in a studio with a fairly spacious room, but with one major flaw: no wardrobe. The only place to hang clothes is a rod in the bathroom, next to the toilet, where the mop also hangs. I find this incomprehensible, given that there was room in the room for a small wardrobe, or at least a chest of drawers (there wasn't even a drawer for clothes). As for the kitchenware, there was just enough for two people. Then there were the towels: one of the ones they provided looked like it had been eaten by mice, and I couldn't change it until the second day because when I noticed, there was no one at reception. They also didn't provide a bath mat. The service is quite poor: reception closes at 7 pm. Outside of those hours, you have to call a number, but we couldn't get through. One day the toilet cistern broke down. I reported it at 7:45 PM (while walking to the hotel), and they didn't fix it until the next day. I think that's a serious enough problem to warrant immediate attention, not just the following day. In short: the best thing was the location. The worst things were the service and the lack of a wardrobe."
