"Traveled in April, the pool was accessible even though the water was still cold at that time. Friendly staff overall. Cleanliness was generally good, with daily housekeeping. Spacious room, bed not very comfortable due to springs and casters. Smart TV, fridge available, and storage space. However, bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise, as it's not very well insulated. Very good breakfast and evening buffet with plenty of choices (sometimes Halal meat, ask the chef, but he's not always sure of himself). Wellness area with a fee, worth visiting once in bad weather. 10-minute walk from the beach"

"this is a nice hotel, and with Port Aventura pass included in its price it gets even better! the room was clean with nice and wide bed, it had a private shower and toilet, which were also very clean. the hotel was renovated long ago and you can see it sometimes bc the wallpapers are dirty at some places and the furniture is not new, but overall it doesn't affect your stay. we used a self-check in machine, so we didn't interact much with the staff, but they were always there for us :) we also had dinner and breakfast included in the price and they were great too, you can see it yourself in the photos! highly recommend, we had a great time!!"

"Efter at have læst nogle bekymrende anmeldelser før vores ferie var jeg glad overrasket over dette hotel.Det var ikke så tæt på som nogle mennesker gjorde.Det sagde det helt sikkert mere en 3-stjerne end en 4. Værelserne var ubeskyttede med regelmæssig rengøring og friske håndklæder.Betændelse også.Værelserne kunne være støjende med folk, der slamerede døre og flyttede møbler.Vær værd at bemærke, at hvis din pool står over for det vil være støjende indtil 11 med underholdning. Barpersonalet var venligt, men servicen var til tider langsom.Tænk på, at det vil blive hjulpet ved at installere selvservicevandskilder.Buffet var lidt af et hit eller miss for os.Der var ikke for mange muligheder for børn eller vegetarer. Layout kunne være bedre, da det ikke var meget effektivt og forårsagede flaskehalse på nogle tidspunkter.Queuing var ikke for dårlig i vores første uge, men mod slutningen var det dårligt. Vores sidste nat var det værste med folk, der køede næsten til døren bare for at få adgang til en del af buffet.Restauranten var enorm med masser af pladser.For hotellets størrelse følte vi, at poolen og det omgivende område bare ikke var stort nok. Det føltes som om vi alle sad ovenpå hinanden.Hvis du ikke gik for lounger mellem 9-10 ville du kæmpe for at få dem.Der var begrænsede paraplyer (mange af dem vi brød), hvilket betød, at vi sluttede med at købe vores egen. Der er et område, der er dækket, men det er lidt væk fra hovedpoolområdet. Den største side af dette hotel for vores gruppe var, at de ikke tillod mobilitet scooters inde på hotellet, havde vi vidst dette på forhånd vi sandsynligvis ville have kigget på at booke et andet sted.Vi har ikke haft dette spørgsmål før, så vi er chokeret af denne opdagelse. Vi havde booket en scooter på forhånd via et eksterne selskab.Vi måtte skrabe for at leje en hjulsæde på ankomstdagen.Det sagde, at hotellet var ret handicappet venligt ellers. En anden nedadgående faktor er, at den nærmeste butik er mindst 10 minutters gang væk med hovedresort center omkring en 15-minutters gang."

"For starters- Staff at reception were lovely and very kind and helpful. Staff at the downstairs bar wanted nothing to do with you if you were english/irish another irish couple felt the same. The rooms- were abit small it’s just two single beds pushed together but it done us. Cleaners cleaned everyday and changed the beds fresh towels everyday. Location- Perfect location you were walking distance from everything you needed, Portaventura, beach, food, bars everything you can think of. The only small negative i have is we are a young couple 20s and the hotel is mainly 60+ up. Not sure if it’s the time of year we went but our last day another irish couple checked in and other than that ir was just us. No complaints we were happy with that but if you wanted a more lively place then not for you!"

"When we arrived, the reception was closed. After waiting for half an hour, the guy at the bar there told us to leave our suitcase with him. We didn't get into the hostel until 3:30 p.m. When we arrived, the door was closed. After waiting for half an hour, they opened the door for us. A rude girl who didn't understand Spanish greeted us with a sour face. She told us to give her a €30 deposit and gave us the room card... The room, to say the least, was terrible, because the only good thing about it are the new windows. Everything else left a lot to be desired. The bed was terrible, the mattress was very noisy, the bed legs were noisy, and there was no bedspread on the bed. They only gave us a sofa blanket. The bed wasn't made, just the top sheet folded on top of the bed. The room smelled terrible. The bathroom... The shower had no handle to open the screen, and the sink was dirty. There are a lot of noises, and they keep talking and shouting at each other in their own language on the stairs leading from reception to the rooms. The front door squeaks loudly when you open it with the button... all night without getting any rest, and to top it all off, when we leave, they tell us we didn't make a reservation... Luckily, in the end, we were able to prove that we had... In short, I pay more money and I'm going to another hotel. Terrible experience."

"I chose a small suite, and I thought the facilities were well-maintained. The view was also decent. However, since the room didn't have a coffee pot, I rented one, but they charged a 20 EUR deposit and a 3 EUR daily fee. This was a completely disconcerting experience I'd never experienced before. What was even worse, as you can see in the photos, despite the high price they charged, the floor was covered in dirt, as if the hotel hadn't cleaned it at all. I was shocked to have to pay for cleaning, and it was also unpleasant to have to ingest foreign substances from the coffee pot the entire time I used it. The hotel needs to make a drastic change in its management policy. Other places offer free, clean coffee pots."

"Single room a bit tight. There is no desk but rather an inch of bookshelf. Studded floor. There is no white curtain so if you want privacy you have to put up the opaque one and then you don't see anything inside. Pool view in a corner. Dining room: Dinner, poor ironing and could be improved (maybe that's how someone approaches it). Right starters, 5 meters of counter x 4 salad bowls and 2 individual plates to choose from. Seconds without any grace. Breakfast: The same 5 meters with 4 cold cuts and 4 salads. Waiters "all at once" leaving the carts wherever they want. Clean cutlery next to the dirty glasses to touch. Triumph in the grilled dining room in pancakes, omelettes and fried eggs. Natural juices and pizzas. It wouldn't hurt if those responsible for the food put a little effort into it."

"Hello...I really liked the hotel..the downside is the WiFi it was a bit poor get cutting out..the pool is more for exercises and kids..good sun trap..lift was a bit small but big enough for 5 to 6 people..ideal location for bars restaurants...food was brilliant everything you could ask for..will definitely come back"

Came back with horrendous stomach pains. Book a room only and eat out would be my advice"

"So few things here. We booked this holiday last minute and didn't properly research so that's on us, but definitely a few things to highlight which could help 1) location means to go into Salou you need to bus or taxi it there and back, there's not much else around the hotel other than a few restaurants and a pharmacy. 2) relying on the reception to book said taxi is a nightmare as there's only ever 1 person on and it can take an age! 3)cleanliness, the reception is lovely and looks great. Our room was tired looking, the beds were changed once in a week, the towels were taken away to be washed dried and returned as opposed to being changed, which meant 5 of us were without towels before reception gave us 5 hand towels until ours were ready later that night. There was also a horrible smell at night which I think was from the air con unit, it smelled like sewage. It was reported to reception twice but nothing was done, so we just kept the doors open to clear it. 4) We picked this hotel for the kids club so it was all about them. Most days it was non existent and they rely on 1 guy to do everything. 10am would be a drawing hour, 4 days out of 7 the room was shut even though on the board it said it was on and reception knew nothing about it. Total lack of communication and really irritating as the kids were gutted. Every night they did a wee games thing for the kids which they loved and the guy does great, but 8pm for an hour does not constitute a kids club. Plus points, 1) The food was decent and well priced 2) The pool doesn't open till 10am so no fighting for beds at 6am 3) The pool was clean and well looked after and the kids loved it. 4) bar staff were friendly and happy to help 5)The shop attached to hotel sells pretty much everything you need day to day. 6) 15 minutes drive from the water parks and theme parks which were excellent Overall, the general consensus around the hotel when speaking to other families was that it was a bit tired looking with not the cleanest rooms, and the lack of kids club S advertised was a huge let down. Safe to say we wouldn't go back."
