"We loved staying at Hotel La Caracola! It honestly exceeded our expectations and helped create a homey/lovely experience. Christian & Paula are amazing and helped us feel at home. Christian helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport. Both drivers were so friendly! Christian also helped us arrange the tours we were interested in, we basically just had to show up or wake up on time if they were picking us up directly from the hotel. Christian also had great food or coffee recommendations. Paula made us homemade breakfast every morning. Fresh eggs, she asks how you prefer them cooked and fresh fruit (plus other foods)! We also met other friends during breakfast time because of this. The location is great, about a 5 - 10 minute walk from main square. We loved that this hotel seemed to be on a quieter street. Our bed was made every day along with fresh towels. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Salento! Salento was one of our favorite visits in Colombia."

"the BEST place to stay in Salento.. perfectly located close to everything but still quiet.. super clean place, nicely decorated, extremely comfortable beds and a HUGE shower, the best we had on our trip.. we had a private room but I saw the dormitories which were the nicest I have ever seen choice of breakfast between scrambled eggs and muesli with yogourt, both excellent LUIS is always there, ready to help, give recommendations etc"

"We stayed at Betatown Salento for 4 nights right before Christmas. It's a family run hotel and the family is simply amazing. The rooms are very spacious. The restaurant also serves up some of the best food in Salento. My kids loved the soccer field adjacent to the restaurant. It's just a few minutes walk from the main square which we loved because it was so quiet to sleep. They arrange rides from the airports and they also set up tours around the area. Highly recommend and we will for sure book again when we go to Salento."

"Hvis du leder efter en ægte colombiansk gård, der bor tæt på Salento, så kig ikke længere.Dette sted oversteg alle forventninger og vi ville vende tilbage i et hjerteslag.Staf & Communication Vi kom til at kende meget lidt spansk, og det var virkelig aldrig et problem. Personalet gik ud af deres vej for at få os til at føle os velkommen og forstået varm, tålmodig og ægte venlig.Dette er gæstfrihed på dets bedste.Fødevare Restauranten på stedet er en alvorlig fremhævelse. Delikat, frisk og utroligt overkommelig vi spiste ekstremt godt hver måltid uden at bruge en formue.Gå ikke over det.Beliggenhed & Get Around The location is perfect for exploration of the region. Willys de ikoniske jeeps, der løber til og fra Cocora Valley passerer lige ved hotellet, hvilket gør dagturene ubesværet og billige.Rides til Salento var komplimentære, hvilket var en smuk touch. For ankomst og afgang arrangerede hotellet lufthavnsoverførsler til/fra Pereira, og kørslen var kun omkring en time let og stress-fri.Farmen Dette er en arbejdsmilkfarm, og det er en del af magien. Køer og heste roamer ejendommen, og venlige lokale katte og hunde vil hurtigt blive dine ledsagere.Det tilføjer en charme og ægthed, du simpelthen ikke vil finde på et standard hotel. Flodhuset Vi boede i flodhuset, perched lige på en smuk stor flod.Vågne op til denne udsigt og falde i søvn til lyden af rushing vand var virkelig en af de mest afslappende oplevelser af hele turen.Absolut fantastisk. Hvis du vil opleve det virkelige Colombia stor mad, utrolig natur, varme mennesker og uovervindelige værdi dette er stedet.Højt anbefalet."
