"The location was near lots of restaurants so we didn't have to go far to find a place to eat. They were doing construction but it wasnt too bad. The room was upstairs and it was ok. I had to go ask for more towels. The guy at the desk said there were 2 in the room. I told him we had 4 people in the room. He double-checked to be sure then he gave me 2 washcloths and 2 towels. There was only 1 small towel to use on the bathroom floor after stepping out of the shower and 1 roll of toilet tissue, 1 bag that goes in the ice container. They have the bare necessities so if you need any extras you will have to ask the front desk to request more. During breakfast the 1st day, it was around 8:20 and they was no waffle mix at all. The waffle iron was there but no mix. The second day I didn't even bother to go to breakfast. The staff was cordial. The stay was ok for the time I was in town. I dont think I would choose it for my family to stay, maybe just myself alone."

"This is a nice new hotel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. It’s in a convenient location for travelers on I-20 and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Some things to consider when choosing the hotel: Tru hotels are somewhat minimalist. There is a refrigerator in the rooms, but no microwave. That’s fine with us. But there is only one trash can and it’s in the bathroom. Couldn’t we put another one in the bedroom too? They don’t cost a lot. Also, I love the convenient online check-in and digital key, but when guests arrive and there is someone at the front desk, please look up and say hello. The breakfast staff were equally uninterested; no eye contact whatsoever. There was a nice lady on duty when we checked out, however. Last complaint: our room on the north side of the hotel had significant road noise. We travel with a white noise machine, so it didn’t bother us, but it might bother others. Overall, though, it’s a nice hotel and we would stay again."
