Hotel Löwen Garni - B&B

"I had a few issues with my stay here, so I wasn't really sure how to rate the place. The first issue was with the air conditioning making buzzing noise from every 5 seconds while working to every minute while turned off. You can imagine the headache I was getting. I tried contacting the hotel via messages, emails, or calls with no success for 4 hours. To be fair, there might have been a problem with calling from my side (I was roaming), but it's strange that there is no messenger option (like WhatsApp, for example) for emergencies because it's hard to call while on international plan. Maybe they're not used to travelers from outside of the EU. Finally, my travel agent contacted the owner, and someone came to resolve the issue. Thank you to that man. But yeah, my plan to go to bed early failed. The next issue is that I found a cockroach in the room. Again, frankly speaking, it was barely alive, but I was terrified. And there were two flies in the room on top of that. However, I saw no insects after I had been moved to a different room. So, it either depends on the room category (I had a single originally), or it's a lottery. Not fun. The breakfast was good, though. Great variety of things to choose from, and the woman was quick to refill everything and clean up. The beds are comfortable, there's a safe in each room, and towels and other stuff are provided. It's located close to the park, but it's about 15-20 minute walk from the supermarket."

"Ukompliceret indtjekning, kunne endda ind på værelset før 16:00. havde kun booket en dag før vores ankomst. Pris ydeevne for vores lille værelse 4 var absolut top, især da en meget god morgenmad var inkluderet i prisen. 200 m til Europa-parken med gratis parkering og god WiFi, hvad du vil have mere. Alt rent, smukt personale og smukke sæder i havens ydre område. Vi var meget tilfredse og kommer sikkert tilbage."

Pension Yvonne - Superior - am Europa-Park

"We stayed at Pension Yvonne as a family of two adults, two children and a baby on July 2023 and we had a great experience! Yvonne and her parents are so kind. Even before we arrived, I had a lot of questions for Yvonne by email and she answered them all with great patience and kindness. Wonderful breakfast with a good variety. The room was very clean and welcoming with a free bottle of water and housekeeping every day. Nice location, a few minutes walk from Europa Park and restaurants and a lovely bakery called bohn. I recommend the family suite, it is very spacious and comfortable, a lovely balcony, great shower. The street is quiet and nice. Yvonne had a lot of information on traveling with kids and her father recommended us on beautiful roads to drive through. I am sure we will come back again, It was a feeling of a perfect vacation together with feeling at home. Thank you very much Yvonne :)"

"Good location and clean but beware of all the extra charges! We asked to enter the property earlier than 4pm because my father was not feeling well and they charged us 50 Euro (!), for an extra toilet roll they ask for 50 cents, for coffee capsules 5 Euro and so on. On the booking sight it said taxes are inclusive but we were charged extra 5Euro local taxes at check out. What I also found strange is that when we were about to leave we were asked to go back and clean the glasses and cups we had used. We did not use the kitchen and found it unusual that guests are asked to clean glasses and cups and in hindsight also wonder about the hygiene not knowing how other guests clean kitchen utensils."
