"Absolutely delightful welcome. The most amazing view from the bar. Indeed we recovered from our cycling trip by having a couple of very good drinks from the bar. The rooms are so beautifully decorated. The shower is good the bed comfortable the room spotlessly clean we enjoyed our breakfast and finally we are on our bikes and there was a secure place to store them. Thank you again."

"We stayed for some days at the Hotel Hermitage in Royan and i liked the location and room, but we didn‘t sleep well or long enough due to the loud buzzing noises of the air cons in the rooms of other guests and the deep drone in the mornings from the elevator as we had a room not far from it. The hotel advertises free parking spots but the hotel hasn‘t parking spaces of it‘s own and the parking spots just behind the hotel are in the blue zone (max 1 to 1.5 hours stay possible) so you have to hunt for a free parking spot in town (best chances are around the cathedral). Avoid the hotel on weekends as young guests book just one or two nights to attend parties in town and they make a lot of noise in their room, but as there‘s no staff from 21:00 on you can‘t ask anybody to talk to the kids."

"Just returned from a weeks stay here. The apartments were beautiful and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and big. It all seems to be very new. It was an apartment for 4 but with only 2 of us there was plenty of space, It would be cosy for 4. The staff were very helpful. It was very quiet in early September. The pool is a decent size if you enjoy swimming, not just 3 strokes and your across! The situation for us was great, a 5 minute walk from the station (we'd travelled by train) and 3min stroll to the beach."

"Maybe because it is an old family hotel, the room is small, there is no elevator, and you have to carry your luggage upstairs. In fact, the room is very clean, but because the floor is tiled, it is not as dry and warm as a chain hotel. The white grandfather seems to be not very friendly to Asians. I will stay in a chain hotel next time. You can park at the door, but there may not be a space. It is close to the beach."

"Efter 1 lille imbroglio på niveauet af vores reservation (værelse, der ikke var udstyret med en King size vs reservation) meget hurtigt løst vores ophold gik godt. Den eneste bemol er temperaturen i havrummet (vand er ikke meget varmt ...) og rummet har et lille afslapningsrum (7 /8 pladser ...). Ellers er personalet på baren i restauranten og soveværelsesmænd meget smilende og sød. Kvaliteten af restauranten er top (det henter havområdet) måltider er godt kogt, og alt er meget godt virkelig har været at fremhæve. Omkring hotellet i denne periode (februar) er alt generelt lukket, det er lidt skadeligt, fordi det mangler animation."
