"Stayed here for a destination wedding that was about 10 minutes away, VERY clean older B&B. Loved the pictures and antiques. There is no lift and quite a few stairs so carrying bags up was a little bit hard. In a very safe and pituresque neighborhood. Would recommend stay here if you have a car as there are no close taxis or Ubers (they come from Taromina and will charge you). Not sure sure what towns or activities are around (town very quiet) and we only stayed the two nights."

Mar dei Poeti - Luxury Suites

"Vi blev i Mar Dei Poeti i en nat før vi flyttede til Taormina.Vi havde to værelser, et til vores to døtre i alderen 23 og 19.Alberto var en vidunderlig vært.Vi havde komplimentdrikke ved ankomsten på taget terrasse. Terrassen er et stort rum med vidunderlige udsigter.Insta værdig.Værelserne er rummelige og sengen var komfortabel.Luftkonen var nødvendig!Fruegen var lækker.Parkering var på gaden uden for stedet. Vi havde ikke en fuldt oplagret minibar eller badeværelser.Alberto sorterede en smuk lokal restaurant for os til aften.Gaden udenfor er travlt om natten med folk og joggere om morgenen. Havet kant er ikke tilgængelig direkte uden for stedet, og der er heller ikke en strand, medmindre du klassificerer et par meter af klipper som en strand.Der er en lille fodgængerjette, som lokalbefolkningen syntes at bruge til at komme ind i havet."

"This is a superb small hotel, situated in a large orchard at the foot of Mount Etna. The room was fine--minimalist but large enough and with an excellent shower, but the reason to stay here is the outdoors. The pool is extraordinary, large enough for lap swimming and surrounded by comfortable lounge areas--and a terrific bar. And the restaurant is incredible: 2 star food in a 1 star setting (they're building a new restaurant facility on the property. We would return here in a heartbeat."

"We loved staying at Galea! The staff is really friendly, the room is basic but more than fine, the pool is great with a lovely view and the dinner is delicious and fair prices. The breakfast is also very nice, with some homemade things as well. A great place from where you can do several activities. But still very calm and relax, out of the crowded touristic areas. We would recommend staying here!"

"Stayed here with a friend for 1 night at the end of our time in Sicily. We were in one of the Flora Lodges which was truly wonderful. So peaceful with stunning views. Dinner in the main restaurant was amazing. We decided to go for one of the Taster Menus which was utterly delicious. Breakfast was equally enjoyable with plenty of choice. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure that you have an wonderful time. Our stay here was a lovely end to our holiday."

"Walk a few short blocks to the harbor and the plaza. Restaurants, bars, and local merchant shopping all within a few minutes. The room is clean and comfortable. Vincenzo is a terific host, and I will book here when I return!"
