📍 Minsterejas iela 8-10, Centra rajons, Riga

"The hotel's location is very close to the bus station, but the streets are all cobblestone, making it difficult to walk with luggage. The room size was adequate. However, during my 5-day stay, they only proactively cleaned once. Being on the ground floor facing the street, it was noisy and didn't feel very secure."

Opera Hotel ★★★★

📍 Raiņa bulvāris 33, Centra rajons, Riga

"Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Opera Hotel in Riga. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the bed was particularly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was also nice, with a good selection and a pleasant overall experience. However, there was one significant issue during my stay. The temperature outside dropped below 10°C at night, but there was no heating in the room, which made it feel quite cold. As a result, taking a shower was not a particularly pleasant experience because the bathroom and room were too chilly. Apart from the lack of heating, I had a pleasant stay and was generally happy with the hotel."

"The location to old town was perfect! The room size was big, bed comfort was excellent, the check in/out process was easy, the staff were all very kind and helpful. I stayed 3 days & would do it again. If you are on the fence, don’t be. It’s excellent. I opted for a quiet courtyard view which was very cool. The A\C worked perfect,I was able to drop the temperature of the room to very cold, just like as I prefer. 10/10 recommend"

"I had a wonderful stay in this spacious and spotlessly clean room. I only stayed for one night, but it was so comfortable that I wished I could have stayed longer. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was tastefully decorated in calming colours, creating a cosy atmosphere. It also had a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge, which was convenient. A pleasant surprise was the free laundry facilities in the basement, including both a washing machine and dryer. This was incredibly helpful during my trip. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was very well equipped, making it a great choice for both leisure and business travellers. I’d definitely love to stay here again!"

Viktorija ★★★
"The location is absolutely superb. The hotel is a bit old, but it has a charming atmosphere, if you can overlook the wear and tear on the floors, doors, and table, and other renovation imperfections. For the price, it's tolerable. I would have liked shampoo and possibly conditioner (especially since there are less essential items like a shower cap and comb, but the shower gel is a 3-in-1 type that doesn't lather well). The staff are pleasant and speak multiple languages. For some reason, they ask all guests to fill out a form with personal details, which I hadn't encountered before. Soundproofing is non-existent, so I recommend exploring Riga thoroughly to ensure a deep sleep and avoid being woken by corridor or street noise. The view from the window was also beautiful. Another nice touch was the mini-fridge in the room, and the room was cleaned even though we only stayed for two nights."

Rixwell Old Riga Palace Hotel ★★★★
"Meget centralt i Riga.
