"A nice basic place to stay in a quiet, convenient area. This lodging is only a few minutes from the airport, useful for withdrawing cash at the only ATM. Also, a few minutes bike ride to a small store to get basic supplies. There is a small restaurant opposite this store too. The room is simple, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. There was a kettle and fridge. There is a garden also with two seating areas. Some of the rooms have a patio with seating. I didn't have one of these. You may need to request one. The women working there doing the greeting, key delivery and house keeping were pleasant, essentially French speaking, we spoke in French. There are bicycles available with an extra charge. These are very useful for getting around the island. Rangiroa is a very simple island. The way of life is at a much slower pace with a very laid back attitude. This is reflected in Te Mao."

"My daughter and I stayed at Le Coconut Lodge for 4 nights in July 2024 and had an amazing time!. The lodge is a collection of beautiful bungalows next to the water. The family who owns the property cares about their guests and helped us book excursions, even at the last minute. This was super helpful and their connections alone are worth staying here. The food was amazing and we had multi-course dinners every night. The fresh bread and banana jam in the morning was divine. The lodge is in a great location, especially for scuba divers. The 6 Passengers dive shop is literally two doors down and you can walk to it in 5 minutes. Tip - even is you don't scuba dive, you can go there for a delicious lunch. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun vacation. Very family friendly."

"Very warm welcome from Rosi, who brings joy to this guesthouse. Breakfasts prepared with love (especially the pancakes ;-) Bungalow well placed near the Tiputa pass, modest equipment with hot water depending on the level of sunshine and a slightly dilapidated bike."

"Tak til Marco og Erika for deres modtagelse . Organisationen til nedstigning af fly med en taxi (omfatter) og derefter taxi båd (tæller 400francs pr. person) Marco ventede os på båd. Nogle forklaringer på landsbyen, passagen, de steder, hvor delfinerne er synlige før de ankommer til logi. Super sted , en smuk have velunderholdt, rent indkvartering, klare instruktioner især for vand. Spisestue lavet hjemme. Vi valgte for middagen. En rigtig delikat . Marco og Erika har kastet os. Glem ikke lånet bil inkluderet i prisen en rigtig top for dårlige cykel- eller sportsfolk. Vi elsker at være i denne lejlighed."

"Housekeepers knocking on our room at 0815 in the morning trying to do housekeeping. Told them to go away. Two minutes later they came back knocking on our door again ! Very unprofessional behavior. I made a complaint to hotel management but haven't heard back. The hotel is also very dated and in desperate need of a renovation. The restaurant is poor and they lied to us saying that our fish was tuna when it clearly wasn't. The prices are very high whilst the restaurant is under staffed and dated."
