"Smukt, rent hotel med venlig personale.Hvis du rejser med børn, der forventer børneklubber og underholdning, så er det ikke for dig. Hvis du ser ud til en indisk måltid, kinesisk eller en tynd britisk stilbar og søndagsmiddag, er det bestemt ikke for dig.Marina fi Ragusa er en traditionel siciliansk by med et par restauranter, der sælger lignende italiensk fayre. Vi blev B&B og Half Board (halv bestyrelse, fordi supplementet var for godt til at nægte) Maden var virkelig sød, kan ikke klage, og søde, pastaer og puddinger er fab.Over 14 dage, sandsynligvis lidt gentagne alligevel. Hvis du ser ud til en dejlig afslappet pause, med smukke pools og strand, er det et godt valg.Hvis du kan lide den mærkelige sportsbar, eller foretrækker nogle rundt om verdens fødevarevalg, når du på din pause, kan du måske ønsker at se andre steder."

Poggio Del Sole Hotel

" Poggio del Sole Hotel Is a hotel of contradiction with impressive and grossly unimpressive features. The hotel is very large considering its remote, rural location. The foyer area is enormous with a large comfortable lounge area. There are numerous large dining areas and you can also eat by the side of the large pool. The pool also has a bar so you can order drinks and snacks. The decor is tasteful with wooden reproductions of a variety of cactus plants including the prickly pear, a noxious **** in Australia but its fruit is used to flavour spirits in Sicily. All sounds very impressive and favourable so far. So how do most people spend most of their time besides sleeping? Browsing the Internet on their phones and iPads. Whilst “free WiFi” signs are common in hotels, cafes etc., it is now a universal expectation. With this in mind, efficient internet connectivity is both mandatory and essential. During our two day stay, WiFi was generally unavailable. To make matters worse, the restaurant menu was only available electronically and there were no paper back up menus. Selecting a food choice from an invisible menu is a challenge. Understandably the restaurant staff seemed to be in a permanent state of stress. The food was very good but a prayer may be needed to get what you ordered. Oh! yes. The rooms are large and have all the expected facilities except for drink making items. Large bed but with 3-stars for comfort. Large bathroom, hot water but wafer thin towels. So lots of pluses, a few minor negatives and the WiFi issue may not be a regular problem (suspect it is), restaurants have atmosphere and reasonable food so just remember to bring a book to read for when your mobile device is inoperative."

"Dette hotel er en total fornøjelse.Den oprindelige late nittende århundrede bygning er meget smuk (mest sjov Norman-Arabisk) med de mest charmerende haver, smuk (hvis lille) pool og elegante moderne værelser. Kapellet, hvor du kan vælge at spise morgenmad, er særlig smukt.Personalet er smilende, hjælpsomt, en fornøjelse.Den eneste ulempe er, at hotellet er en kort gåtur til gammel Ragusa, og en retfærdig søvn fra Ibla. Som en moderat egnet mand i begyndelsen af 1960'erne fandt jeg det fint, men de, der ikke kan lide en strøm, burde måske søge et sted mere centralt.For mig er dette måske det smukkeste hotel, jeg nogensinde har boet i."

"Smuk kasse, godt renoveret, rene og hyggelige værelser med alle de nødvendige komfort, en dejlig terrasse med en smuk udsigt. Søde morgenmad og en overflod af salat og fremragende. Vi er blevet velkommen af en fantastisk vært! Giuseppe, tilgængelig og venlig at give os alle de nødvendige oplysninger, hjalp os med at løse problemet med vores lejede bil, blev hos os hele morgenen. Råd dette sted i Ragusa, uundgåeligt mål!"

"Værten er stor.Han er virkelig interesseret i sine gæster.Værten var ren og sengen var komfortabel.Frue blev individuelt forberedt med lokale og hjemmelavede genstande.Min eneste klager er, at værelset var minimalt møbleret med ikke nok lys. Værelset følte mere som et hostel end et B&B."

"I was at the P43 Sicilian Suites at the beginning of September, a lovely time to visit Ragusa and its surroundings. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Ragusa, a short walk to the main square and the cathedral of San Giovanni Battista, but in a quiet street that won’t disturb your sleep. Everything was perfect in the property, from the warm welcome of the owner, to the comfort of the cleanest room that presented a mix of modern convenience and old touch with the original walls recently restored. The property sits in an old building and some of the areas are still showing the original features of a few centuries ago, you can feel it everywhere around you. The breakfast was something to die for. Not the usual breakfast but a proper combination of exquisite local produce like the typical scaccia, local cheeses and charcuterie, all the way to traditional cakes all rigorously home made, by the property or by the bakery around the corner. I’ll go back to this hotel where you truly have the feeling of finding humanity, kindness and a real taste of local tradition."

Iblaresort Boutique Hotel

"We weren't sure about this hotel but the reviews steered us to book it. We couldn't be more pleased. Daniele, the young owner and his staff go all out to make the guests feel special. This is a quirky hotel spread over three buildings in small piazza of Ragusa Ibla which is a historical gem. The rooms are very simply furnished, even spartan but extremely cleverly arranged with absolutely all one can needs. The bathrooms are ultra modern, there's wifi, a mini bar, coffee and tea machines, electric plugs near the bed. Sensational. Great breakfast with everything, even made to order eggs inside and on the terrace with spectacular views. Driving in the city is challenging and parking is available, free if you can find it, down the street about 1/4 mile. There's pay parking down some stairs from the hotel which is very good. 1 euro/hr but free between midnight and 9:55 am.Ragusa is a barroc gem having built after the 1693 earthquake. Not for the faint hearted as it has huge elevations better negotiated on foot due to may stairs and steep, narrow streets. Not recommend for people with physical disability."
