"Well maintained with simple yet beautiful decorations. Plenty of common area to chill & work. Huge outdoor terrace all around the top floor. The house has water dispenser to made both both hot & cold drinks. Hassan Tower, waterfront promenade (sunset view) & Rabat medina are just 6 tram-stops away via #1 route for mad 7. There are also buses to & from these sightings back to house. Breakfast is Chinese-styled home cooking. Yummy dumpling, fried spring roll and the spicy veg are some of my favs. 好有家的感觉。 谢谢大美的家！"

"Upon arrival at the hotel, I was disappointed to find that it had no gym, it was booked for me by my office though, so I had no legitimate right to expect one, but these days it seems to be a pretty standard expectation. My main issue was basic organisation, cleanliness and hygiene. We had an event in the hotel, it took until well after the event began for the dirty glasses and half-used refreshments from whoever was in the room before us to be taken away and for new drinks and snacks to be brought in for us. There was no water, the orange juice was such thick pulp as to be completely undrinkable. My room appeared to be quite clean until I realised that there was an ant nest in the room! A hole in the carpet underneath the desk proved to be where they were coming in and out. I found them on the desk going for the food that I had brought from the local shop. The room service was okay, apart from the fact , I had to go physically down to the restaurant to order it because nobody picked up the phone for room service and nobody picked up the phone for Reception. I had the club sandwich which was average and a crème brûlée which I have to say was delicious. A colleague had the cheeseburger and said it was terrible. The lifts are very bad - very jerky and rough. Check-in took way too long and the attitude of the Reception staff to a colleague whose booking had been lost was not helpful. Overall would NOT recommend."

Good WiFi, plenty of electrical sockets, and a substantial buffet breakfast. Ridiculously strong shower which causes a mini flood in the bathroom, but otherwise a good choice for a stay in Rabat."

STORY Le Carrousel Rabat
"We stayed at Story Le Carousel Rabat as a family with two children in an Executive Suite on a half-board package. Overall, I’d rate it 4/5 because the hotel itself is beautiful and has real 5 rating potential, but the communication and organisation were disappointing throughout our stay. I do appreciate that the hotel is still very new, but staff training is clearly an issue. The room was lovely — modern, spacious and very comfortable. The pool area was also fantastic and often wonderfully quiet. Unfortunately, from arrival onwards there were repeated issues. Despite showing booking confirmations, the hotel initially could not find our reservation and we waited around an hour to check in. There was also constant confusion regarding our half-board package, with staff repeatedly giving different information about which restaurants we could use and what was included. We were told there was a children’s menu in the Spanish restaurant, but there wasn’t, and it was not particularly family friendly. Even at checkout, the bill incorrectly included all food charges despite us being half-board. Another disappointing moment was being called at almost 11:30pm regarding a signed bar bill issue, which woke the whole family when it could easily have been dealt with the next morning. The biggest issue overall was communication. Staff were polite and trying to help, but many seemed unsure of procedures and we often had to ask multiple times for clear answers. We were actually going to rate the hotel 3/5, but on our final day a member of the reception team handled the situation professionally, corrected the billing issues and arranged a complimentary airport transfer as a goodwill gesture. That genuinely improved our overall impression and is the reason we increased our rating by one. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities, but the service and communication need improvement to truly match the luxury setting."

"This Riad was excellent. Omar is a credit to the hotel and gets a 10/10! The Riad itself was very cute with rooms running around an open air courtyard. The rooms were very nice and had excellent air con which was very well received after a long day walking in the Medina. Breakfast was served daily with a selection of pastries, yoghurt, fruit and eggs to order. There is a lovely rooftop with day lounges to sit and read and also a little pool. The only downside is that it can be very noisy in the morning with visitors having breakfast and talking very loudly, but this is not the hotels fault. IF you are wanting quiet though it might not be the place for you. It is nestled in the Old Medina which is a magical experience for any traveller to wander around the alleyways."

"The hotel is very nice, and for a riad, the setting is quite modern. Welcome refreshments were provided in the room, and the reception was very warm. The location is great, close to Kasbah of the Udayas and the old town. I was very satisfied. The only drawback is that it is a bit small and has no courtyard. The swimming pool is on the rooftop, and it doesn't have the beautiful gardens and swimming pools that you'd find in other riads in other cities, but this is my favorite hotel I found on Rabat's hotel list."

"Love the architecture and design of the Riad. The staff showed great hospitality. The only issue here is bathroom. It’s impossible to share a bathroom for 4 ladies. Perhaps, put in disposable shower caps and hotel slippers. I hope Fes Luxury Tour will look into this matter. Thank you. "

"The guesthouse we stayed at for the shortest time was the one we visited. We arrived at midnight, and when we went in, there weren't many people around, which made us a little scared, but it was just our imagination. There was a door in the room leading to the outside rest area, and I kept suspecting that people outside could see in, but it turned out I was overthinking it. The breakfast was delicious, and they even saved some for us since we were late. The interior was also very beautiful!"
