"I had a really relaxing stay at Planet B – The staff were friendly and helpful, & the included breakfast (eggs, pancakes, and fruit) was delicious ! There are a few hammocks to chill out in, & I appreciated the gym/yoga area upstairs. The location is convenient, with a bus stop close by that made getting to the beach easy and hassle-free. I also saw some wildlife in the backyard:)"

Grand Park Manuel Antonio - Adults Only

"I booked it through ******* and I was not aware of few issues which I did not like right out of the bath. Neither pictures nor description on ******* indicates open air bathrooms. As there are probably people who liked it I do not belong to them and it was very unpleasant surprise for us. Second huge roach in room. We arrived late and it was heavy rain, so we were to tired to change it. However next day we packed our things and move to other hotel, actually much better and with lower price, El Faro, strongly recommended. We requested refund based upon misleading information, but we were only offered other room. I guess she could not comprehend that we do not like open air bathrooms and roaches in our room. We have never received any refund for this hotel. Service was OK, breakfast very modest, I think for this price could have be better. Pool was not very clean either. Anyway, before you book it, look around. We were very pleased with El Faro. Breakfast included and a la carte. Restaurant in hotel as well. Nice clean pools."

"A very nice room with a balcony overlooking the sea. On-site dining is available, and Manuel Antonio Park is a 3-minute walk away. The hotel overlooks a very pleasant beach. Buses from San José stop right outside the hotel at the "La Playa" stop. Numerous buses connect the hotel to Quipos for 380 colones or 1 dollar."
