"Park Plaza Hotel. Very nice! Exceeded my expectations! They even had Hainan specialty welcome fruits – a coconut 🥥. The staff mentioned it opened in August 2025, so many of the facilities are indeed new and up-to-date, thumbs up! 👍 I originally planned to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, but its decor is several years old. I stayed there two years ago and it felt pretty average. Comparing the prices (Park Plaza had a discount, Hilton Garden Inn didn't), I decisively chose Park Plaza. Another advantage is that it's about a 20-minute walk from Qionghai High-Speed Rail Station. If you walk at night, there are lights and bustling shops along the way, so there's nothing to worry about. To get to the Hilton, you definitely need a taxi, especially at night, as the road is very dark with few and dim streetlights. You also have to cross 'Brave Bridge,' and the road is narrow and uneven, making it impossible to walk... All in all, my experience at Park Plaza this trip was excellent 👍👍👍. Between the two, I highly recommend Park Plaza."

"The hotel we booked together arranged very nice rooms for us. The weather in Hainan is quite warm, the hotel has a great sea view, and the front desk lady is very nice. The only thing that is not very friendly to tourists is that there is no free laundry and drying. There are so many people and they charge per piece, which is a bit expensive. The front desk lady suggested that we just wash by hand. It is really good to have a large balcony, so that the clothes can be dried the next day."
