I enjoyed the breakfast, and I also went to the pool where the lovely lifeguard even helped me take some nice photos, which made me very happy. Everything about the service was excellent. I even received a small surprise gift on 520 (May 20th), which was a delightful surprise. Ginny and Manager Xiao provided trustworthy and top-notch service."

Breakfast for the 2 mornings had some variation so that we don’t get bored with the same type of food. Free coffee & pear drinks at the lobby is an added advantage to quench our thirst after a day out. Location is very convenient, very near to Taitung Pedestrian Street & restaurants."

"I highly recommend the Orange Crystal Hotel in Qingdao! The location is absolutely fantastic, just a short walk to May Fourth Square. My room had a direct ocean view, and at night I could see half of the city skyline – the night view was absolutely stunning! 🌃 The hotel environment was also impeccable. As soon as you walk in, there's this luxurious fragrance that's incredibly pleasant. The lobby has a bar, and the lounge area is huge with super soft sofas, offering complimentary candies and tea. You could easily spend an afternoon waiting for a ride there without getting tired. The room itself was also superb: clean, tidy, and the bed and TV were impressively large! I especially want to praise the pillows – they actually provided both latex and memory foam options, they really know what guests need! There's also a huge desk, so you can order a full table of takeout and work and eat at the same time without any issues. The bathroom mat felt incredibly comfortable underfoot, much better quality than ordinary towels. Takeout was delivered by a robot, so I didn't even need to leave my room or go downstairs! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao! 👍"
Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square)
"Stayed at the Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel, May Fourth Square branch, on June 6th. I booked a two-night stay in a deluxe king room via the Trip.com app. Upon check-in, I was lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a king room with a sea view. Many thanks to the gentleman who handled my check-in. **Location**: Just a few minutes' walk from May Fourth Square and right next to MixC shopping mall. A bus stop is only 3 minutes away from the entrance. Very convenient for getting around and dining. **Room**: The hygiene was excellent, and they provided welcome cookies and drinks. The only minor drawback was that the soundproofing was a little lacking. However, considering the cleanliness, service, and location, this is a negligible issue. **Breakfast**: There was a wide variety of options, probably enough to satisfy everyone's taste. Personally, I found it quite delicious. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Qingdao."

"One of the most gorgeous hotels we have stayed in yet! Right by the sea, excellent service, wonderful amenities. Great breakfast included and was appreciated because there was not much around. Food-wise there were some nearby by walking distance but not many. Could have been because it was slightly off-season. Free beer for guests every afternoon and night and the lounge became a lively place to hang out. Would definitely love to come back."

"Great environment! I stayed in a side-sea view room. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, and the room was spacious with complete amenities, all spotlessly clean. The shower had excellent water pressure – very comfortable and cozy. Excellent service! Both the lobby and room service were great throughout my stay. Breakfast was a highlight: abundant and varied. The buffet offered a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, including local specialties like 'Pancake Rolls with Everything' and seafood noodles. High value for money! The hotel boasts a prime location, within walking distance to the beach, May Fourth Square, and the Olympic Sailing Center. Vientiane City (MixC) is nearby, making dining and shopping convenient. Public transport links are also excellent."

"Had a fantastic trip! After a long search, even though it's a bit far from the stadium, I still chose the MGM Grand Residences. Overall, the stay was excellent. Our butler, Kelly, proactively asked about our needs and, knowing we had an early flight, even reserved our room for us before we arrived. We were able to check in immediately upon arrival, which was very thoughtful service. The room perfectly blends oriental elegance with modern comfort, totally hitting the mark for us. The hardware facilities are high-end and comprehensive, and the smart home system is easy to operate, making for a convenient and comfortable stay. The only drawback is that food deliveries need to be picked up downstairs, which is a real pain for those who love ordering in. It would be great if this could be improved. The concierge staff were gentle and polite, always offering to help with luggage and open car doors. The hotel staff were also very responsive whenever we had a request. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Qingdao."

"The environment here is absolutely amazing! The beach is right downstairs, and a leisurely coffee stroll by the sea is incredibly therapeutic. The hotel service is also great. It's perfect for a vacation. I stayed here during a business trip and found it very peaceful. Breakfast was also excellent and offered a wide variety. The front desk manager provided exceptional service. It's a shame I was too busy to truly enjoy everything. Opening the window and hearing the sound of the waves crashing was incredibly soothing for sleep."

"We took our kids on a road trip and spent a long time choosing the hotel we chose. Nestled in Laoshan, nestled between the mountains and the sea, you can watch the sunrise from your room. We originally planned to stay one night, but because the sea sausage rice in the restaurant was so delicious (not just the rice, but the other dishes were also excellent), we decided to stay three nights. The housekeeper was friendly and attentive, and the kids wanted to stay longer during their vacation. A special reminder: if you're driving, please contact the hotel in advance to give your vehicle number; otherwise, you won't be able to enter."

It’s close enough to everything, but still quiet enough to rest properly. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"This is probably the worst Orange Crystal I've stayed at in the past two years. It says it opened in 2025, but as soon as I entered the room, there was a strong dusty smell that didn't go away until I checked out. After dinner, I found a large fly. A hotel employee helped me swat it with a towel, but after that, the dusty smell got even stronger. I have rhinitis and kept sneezing. The TV in the room was difficult to use, constantly showing a green screen. Housekeeping was a bit perfunctory, and the service felt superficial. The food delivery robot was glitchy, and the elevator was incredibly slow. The location seemed close to everything, but in reality, walking was tiring, so I mostly took taxis. The main entrance is on a small alley, which isn't very convenient. The price during the May Day holiday wasn't low, and I booked it because it had very few negative reviews, but the experience was disappointing."
