📍 Vanenburgerallee 13, Putten

"We stayed for a Saturday night away and had dinner in the restaurant as well. It was a very relaxing, refreshing escape. Our junior suite was spacious and comfortable, the grounds are lovely. Staff were professional if not openly friendly. Definitely recommended."

📍 Garderenseweg 154, Putten

"Absolutely terrible! We rented a "Deluxe" room. Paid 175eur. for one night. Obviously renting a "Deluxe" room you expect something a bit fancy but it was far from that. It was actually bellow mediocre I would say, we were quit shocked. And the breakfast suppose to be included, but it was few pieces of cheese and dry bread, I could tell it's not fresh. Fresh bread is never dry... Just sad. No dignity of owners to charge such money for value delivered. Very disappointing."

📍 Harderwijkerstraat 14, Putten

"We had booked for four nights, but unfortunately the rain ruined the stay. The hotel is clean and tidy, beds are okay, and the bathroom is free of mold. The hotel staff is polite and courteous. From this hotel, there are many things to see: sand sculptures (Garderen), Mariahoeve. We wanted to go for a nice walk in the area, but the rain spoiled our plans; unfortunately, we left one day early. A big thumbs up for this hotel. After a long day, happy hour there is highly recommended."

"Beautiful location indeed. We had a house that was difficult to warm, but otherwise okay. The food was downright chaotic because there was also a party. With many questions we finally got our food. After the stay my ereader was lost. Various telephone calls and emails, where I also indicated that I would check the bedding, were to no avail. Two months later I received the ereader from the laundry. The organization of Vanenburg Castle, no matter how beautiful, leaves much to be desired."

"We stayed at the hotel from May 26 to May 29, 2022, in a Superior Comfort room. Room 207. The room was fine with an excellent bed, but the bathroom was very disappointing. Small, old-fashioned, and not very clean. There wasn't even a rack to put your toiletry bag on. You could only store your toiletries on a small shelf above the sink. The toilet was not very clean and is in need of a thorough cleaning. Brown deposits were visible in the curve of the bowl and under the water surface (I am not talking about traces of stool, but brown deposits resulting from a lack of maintenance). The breakfast room is not particularly cozy. A few tables for two and four, but mostly long rows of tables where you have to queue. The breakfast is just boring and not very varied. Boring bread. The same selection every day. A bowl of fresh fruit is probably too expensive, so just fruit from cans, though with some freshly cut pineapple mixed in. One plus point: good coffee."
