"Disgusting business practice - similar to other reviews PLEASE BEWARE! After 24 hours of travel time, we got to the destination hotel - and they tell me my reservation was cancelled- I have all documentation, all confirmation numbers - and they don’t want to even see my papers. Left stranded, My husband and I had to look for another hotels with vacancies. I have been travelling for 20 years - I have never experienced this amount of unprofessionalism and total disregard for a customer. I hope they get sued."

"We visited Il Frantoio with very special friends as part of my wife’s birthday celebrations. We had a wonderful stay with everything being just perfect. Our 2 bedroom apartment was really well equipped and very comfortable with a large private patio space. Breakfast was fabulous and it was great to have fruits and other breakfast ingredients which had been grown in the hotel gardens. Giacomo was a wonderful host who took the time to chat to us every morning and he had plenty of good suggestions for things to do and places to see. We booked his private boat for a 4 hour trip along the Amalfi coast. We enjoyed drinks during the cruise and a couple of stops for us to have a swim. The rest of the team at Il Frantoio are all wonderful and super helpful. Cristina looked after us on arrival and was on hand to prepare some delicious lemonchello spritz drinks by the pool. Tony was busy preparing our breakfast each morning, and Aruna kept out apartment clean with a daily refresh - always with a big smile on his face. We also met Giulio - Giacomo’s Dad, who tended to the garden areas and made the most wonderful jam for the breakfast buffet. Overall this place is faultless and I hope we can return again some time. Until then and to all the team at Il Frantoio - Grazie!! David & Pauline"

"The hotel is right by the sea, Mediterranean style, first-class scenery. My favorite is the breakfast on the public balcony and enjoy the sea view. Due to the limit of the number of rooms, I added money to change an apartment. The floor is relatively low, blocking the sea view, and the Wi-Fi quality needs to be upgraded."

"We had an amazing stay! We traveled with our two boys. They really enjoyed the pool. The views from the balcony were breathtaking! We loved how clean and organized everything was in the apartment. Just AMAZING! Not a lot of stairs to get to the apartment which is a big plus! Roberta was great! Very good communication. She helped organize car services which was super helpful. She responded very quickly to my messages! Just WOW and amazing experience from beginning to end! 10/10!!"

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B La Barbera. The check in experience was warm and attentive. The room is spotless, very clean and fresh, with a great bed and beautiful linen. And the view. Wow, the view. Absolutely breathtaking, from the large terrace adjacent to the room, with hot tub, small table and 2 sun loungers. Sylvia and the team were very helpful with suggestions, be it restaurants in Praiano (there area lot of good restaurants), exploring the area or travelling to Amalfi, Ravello or Positano. The breakfast is also marvellous and plentiful (each guest can choose from a very wide variety of options). And my wife and I enjoyed a great aperitivo every night on our terrace. As for the location, I initially had second thoughts about choosing Praiano as a base for exploring the area, fearing it would be remote. That is absolutely not the case, and in fact it has its advantages - it is quiet, quaint, and the buses to and from Positano are less crowed (vs those travelling the Positano-Amalfi route). It was also a perfect base from which to hike the Sentiero dei Diegli (a must do if you want to do a memorable hike)"
