"Fantastic Family Stay – Even Better Than We Remembered! We spent 5 wonderful nights at Iririki Island Resort and absolutely loved our time there. Although we went into town for lunch and dinner a few times, we mostly stayed on the island and soaked in the beautiful surroundings. The kayaking and snorkeling were a highlight, especially thanks to Etella and Teraa—these two went above and beyond to look after our family and made the experience memorable. The ocean view villa was spacious, airy, and perfect for watching the fish swim right by our deck. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included halal chicken options, which we really appreciated. The staff catered to our dietary needs and made sure alcohol was left out, which meant we could enjoy every meal without worry. Only downside: they didn’t accept Amex and charged a 3% surcharge on Visa/MasterCard, which, combined with international bank fees, added up. Although we had a discount from Trip.com, we couldn’t really take advantage of it due to these charges. Next time, we’ll prepay online instead of using the “pay at hotel” option. This was our second visit to Port Vila after 13 years, and both the city and Iririki were just as magical as we remembered. A special shoutout to Taste of India in town—absolutely fantastic food! Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking to unwind in paradise."

"The main advantage of this hotel in Port Vila is the ability to cook your own meals. It's affordable and well-suited for longer business trips. The environment is pleasant, and the staff are quite friendly. There are many Chinese supermarkets nearby, so you can easily buy a variety of ingredients for cooking. However, the kitchenware isn't ideal."

"Liked; the location was nice and quiet and beautiful view of the lagoon. Unit was nice, clean, spacious. Lovely tropical grounds - but could use some weeding/care! Restaurant on site again very quiet but menu had a bit of everything. Disliked · The pools are all quite small and there is very little room to sit and relax around them. One is immediately infront of reception and the dining room. The sun loungers are all quite old, tatty and broken, the cushions again old and not clean. Its at the bottom of a very steep long driveway which you have to walk up to catch a bus. Its a 15 min walk into town down a very dark road at night. There are a lot of steps too. The kitchen and bathroom are old dark wood and looking very tired and dated now. Breakfast is basic and same everyday. Delivered to room-Toast, cereal, juice, croissant, yoghurt, fruit."

"The room was very clean, but there were bugs outside, so remember to keep the windows closed. The water heater needs to be adjusted manually, otherwise, the default temperature won't be hot enough. There's no air conditioning downstairs, so it gets quite stuffy, but it's better upstairs with AC. Also, be aware that the water left out is rainwater and not safe for drinking."

Jeg forsøgte at bestille en kyllinge-dumplingsmåltid fra en forældet restaurantmenu, men jeg blev fortalt, at det ikke længere er tilgængeligt.Så hvis du vil have bedre madmuligheder, er det bedst at gå rundt om byen. Vær klar til at give 1000 BTW, for nøgledepositum, der ville blive returneret ved checkout.Generelt vil jeg anbefale dette hotel til andre!"

"Our stay at Waves at Surfside in Pango was absolutely incredible! We stayed in a spacious 3-bedroom beachside villa and were pleasantly surprised by the elegant furnishings and king-size beds. The private swimming pool and ocean view from our bedrooms were pure luxury. Pango surf break, one of Vanuatu's prime surf beaches, provided endless excitement, home to the annual Leimalo Surfing Competition. The convenience of local buses at our doorstep made it easy to explore Port Vila and enjoy nearby restaurants, all just a short ride or walk away. Our adventures included snorkelling in Pango in front of the villa, with the special experience of swimming with a dugong on our first day, surfing the break, and exploring local cuisine at Port Vila markets. Honeymoon Beach offered amazing snorkelling with colourful coral and tropical fish. Waves at Surfside offered the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure and cultural immersion on the Pango peninsula. For an unforgettable beachfront experience in Vanuatu, this is the place to be. We're eager to return for more oceanfront luxury next to the best surf in Efate and the friendly Pango village."

"Oh My!!!! What a wonderful place to stay. The Havannah ticked all the boxes... No Kids!, max 34 guests, extremely quiet, no motorised water sports (no jetski noise etc), a la carte for brekky lunch and dinner included in the room rate. Lots of free watercraft - single and 2 person kayaks, Hobi cat, stand up paddleboards. Also free use of snorkelling gear. The very close coral isn't spectacular, but the staff will advise which way to swim to see the better coral. There were still many very colourful fish to see, and 2 x large (30cm across) anemones just off the beach along with their resident clown fish. If you look carefully, you will often see turtles and dugongs just off the beach. We also saw a pod of dolphins out in the deeper water. For those who like to go fishing, you can book to do just that, and also book other tours, remote picnics, snorkelling etc. The meals at The Havannah are amazing! Every mouthful is a carefully curated taste experience. No seasoning necessary! And there was absolutely nothing we ate where we thought - 'needed a little more' anything. Every morsel was just perfect. The chefs here are very much world class! Every staff member was so very cheerful, helpful, kind and caring. The beach and views are amazing. Waters are crystal clear and often glassy if there is little breeze. We drank many cocktails, spirits etc for 6 nights and the total cost was only just over $300Australian - incredibly good value. The complimentary pickup from the airport took away all stress. They even tell you the evening before what time they will take you the next day to the airport. The road from Port Havannah to Port Vila is not in a good way at present, but you need to remember this is a developing country with not much population and many islands for the government to look after. The bus was aircondioned and comfy - so we just took in the views. We WILL be going back!"
