"Galicia in autumn can be very rainy, so I prioritized proximity to the train station. But the town is small and entirely walkable. Strolling to the old town takes ten minutes. I booked directly from the hotel-chain's website, paid €41 per night and got almost everything one could wish for: a comfy bed large enough for a family of three, impeccable wifi, large bathroom, bathtub with a shower During hotter months, a fridge in the room could have been a good idea. But in October, this doesn't matter. "

"If you are the sort of pilgrim who enjoys the extra penance of being abused on arrival by someone so aggressive you question why they would ever be in the hospitality industry then this is definite the place for you. The added bonus is you can get a bunk bed in a corridor. And unlike every other Albergue we stayed in, they don’t provide any type of breakfast or coffee, but you can buy an outrageously overpriced pilgrims breakfast at the cafe they own next door. Just be sure you turn up at the exact time for breakfast or risk getting further abused by the owner. Sleeping on the street would provide a better experience. Best to be avoided at all costs."

"This is a 400 year old family home turned into a wonderful, intimate lodging. This is not a franchise which is why we chose to stay here. The family is present, gracious and generous with their time. Exploring the area was full of beautiful vistas, great food and laughter as we tried to speak our barely acceptable Spanish. Consider staying during the spring and/or fall as it is not as busy then. Thank you to Beatriz and her lovely mother for the welcome and laughs."

"We were 4 people, a married couple and two children, the treatment was excellent. I would like to highlight the receptionist because she made many things easier for us, such as parking, telling us where we could park and changing the TV remote a few times because it didn't have VAT. The room was very clean and the fixed beds were comfortable, but the extra beds were a bit uncomfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. The food in the cafeteria was very good. There wasn't much to choose from, but it was very good. The hotel was very central. The best way to get to the center was through the cafeteria, which is accessed by going up some stairs and taking you there in 5 minutes."
