"Hotel was 4 star but more like 3 star.  Room very basic and bathroom old.  The location was great and room was clean.  Breakfast was nice if you like pastries.  The days out were fabulous and the ruins spectacular.  We had a great time."

"We booked the Costa Hotel in Pompei for a last minute visit to see the Pompei Ruins and Hurculaneum, and surrounding area, via a booking online agent, for late february to early March. The Hotel is tucked away in an authentic part of the the edges of Pompei, away from the hustle and bustle. We were greeted with smiles by the owner and team, this is a family built and run Hotel, and you can see and hear they take great pride in giving you a great experience. The rooms are comfortable, and spotless., with. ensuite facilities, and we had a small balcony with views of Mount Versuvius. We were staying during off peak, so not many other guests, but they still opened the breakfast bar for us in the evenings to enjoy dinner from their home cooked menu. They have their own shuttle bus, and will drop you at the rail station if you dont want to walk, at no cost. The nearest station is very close, but closed during our stay for renovation/ repairs, so its a 25 minute brisk walk to the next one, Pioppaino, so that really helped on the days we were scheduled to visit the sites with lots of walking. They were helpful in booking taxis and transfers when needed, and the little bar in the evenings was perfect for tea coffee or any selection of drinks and snacks. All in all nothing to fault, and would definately reccomend this as a Hotel worth a visit."

"The location is good, 280 meters from the ancient city, with convenient parking. There is a Japanese restaurant run by Wenzhou people 400 meters away, and there is a light rail nearby. This hotel is worth the price. If you just want to sleep in, it is perfectly fine to visit Pompeii."

Ravida Suites

"Stayed for one night 26th July for 1 night to attend a concert in the Amphitheatre. The room was large , basic, rustic but clean, Room was at the back no view to speak of but quiet. Air-conditioning was working in our room but not in others. We had no hot water at all for a shower. Key has to be obtained from a neighbouring hotel which isn't an issue. Informing reception there was no hot water , the reply was ' i know" We can't have a shower because its cold water - reply "I know" Not the best or most helpful service. On booking out another guest said they haven't had working air-conditioning for 2 days. Can't recommend, won't return."

Lejligheden var meget ren med alt, hvad du har brug for til et kort ophold i Pompei.Fremragende stille luftkon.Meget komfortable senge & pølser.Stille om natten, selv med at være placeret på hovedstregen.Jeg tøver med at anbefale."
