"The apartments are located near the industrial part of the city, to the center you can get by taxi for 1000 francs. Our studio was on the 3rd floor with a balcony coming out into the yard so the noise from the street was almost unheard. Inside is very clean and comfortable, a large two-bedroom bed with a comfortable mattress. There is a closet for clothes, a desk with a roast, a teapot and a microwave. Clean toilet with hot shower. In the same building there is a small Muslim supermarket without beer and bakery. In the nearby building of the pharmacy."

"I just returned from Pointe Noire where I stayed for a week at the ELAIS during a business trip. I left very disappointed and even a little annoyed with this hotel, which has so much potential. First of all, the staff (especially at reception) couldn't care less about the guests. They are clearly not trained for this job, offer no help whatsoever, and clearly don't care whether or not they help the customer. No welcome, no smile... I had to find a car with a driver on my own because someone from reception had made an appointment with an acquaintance who ultimately never showed up. Of course, no one apologized. The first evening, I was given my room, went up, and it hadn't been cleaned. Upon arrival, I requested a late check-out for my last day, which was refused, citing a Moroccan delegation, and they even told me they would prefer I leave early on my last day. The room was cleaned, but apparently never behind the bathroom door. Four room service orders arrived with items missing, and some were delayed by an hour. I asked for the address of a restaurant called CHEZ DENISE, which is listed on TripAdvisor, and no one helped me find this supposedly famous restaurant. I was even told it didn't exist. The rooms are clean but really outdated. In short, I won't be going back."
