"The Holiday Inn Express Pyeongchang is truly remarkable among all the Holiday Inn Express hotels I've stayed at. Judging by the decor and room size alone, it's a member of the Indigo brand, perhaps due to its location in the small county of Pyeongchang. The service was exceptional. Upon check-in, I casually asked if there was sparkling water as a welcome drink and was told no. The hotel actually made me a special drink and sent it to my room. I was so touched. The breakfast was also very generous, and the quality of the dishes was exceptional, far superior to other Holiday Inn Express hotels."

"The hotel is right next to the train station square, making it convenient for high-speed rail travel. The amenities are superior to Holiday Inn Express hotels in other cities. The room is spacious and has a bathtub. A call to the front desk will even deliver a disposable bathtub set. The overall service is excellent. While the professionalism is a bit less than at other Holiday Inn Express hotels, it's definitely above average. It's probably the best hotel in the county. By the way, they also provided a complimentary late-night snack of stir-fried snails and edamame, which was a particularly thoughtful touch (see Figure 3)."
