"Centrally located hotel in the heart of Pienza. Everything was perfect: modern and clean rooms, free on-site parking available for guests. The pool was a welcome addition during these hot days. The breakfast was amazing, both sweet and savory, with excellent homemade products (not least the yogurt from the famous Cugusi dairy!). The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to make us feel at home. We'll definitely be back!"

"- Because the buildings here are all old and historic, the rooms are simply decorated (but very clean!) You can experience the local feeling of southern Italy~ - The courtyard is super large! Looking out during the day is a green expanse, and watching the sunset at night is also beautiful! - The boss and employees are very nice, English communication is completely OK, and the boss also has three very docile and cute dogs - ❣️The key point! ! The food is very delicious! ! ! I highly recommend everyone to experience it. The dinner we went to was homemade pasta, beef cheeks, and a goat milk ice cream dessert. From the presentation to the taste of the food, it is not inferior to the Michelin restaurant I ate in the past few days. At dinner, guests from various countries would sit at a long table and eat and chat, which was a very interesting experience~"

Our host was amazing, she checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The accommodations were comfortable and perfect. The views from this town are amazing and the town has many shops, restaurants, churches, etc. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to beautiful Siena. The views around are stunning, the place itself offers multiple cozy nooks to chill at and the rooms such as the estate are clean and beautiful. The host is very kind and welcoming! The agriturismo is close to Pienza, which is for me one of the most pittoresque and cute villages of Tuscany, but also in easy distance to other well-known Tuscan cities. Nothing to complain - would come back! Pro tip: buy some of the locally produced olive oil!!"

"⭐ 0/10 – Beautiful marketing, bitter reality If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience, stay far away. The owners are not Italian, the staff is not Italian, the kitchen is not Italian, and the atmosphere has nothing to do with real Tuscany. Everything feels like a staged tourist set—a polished, “Instagram-ready” version of Italy with zero soul or authenticity. They sell the idea of a traditional agriturismo, but the reality is artificial. The garden and exterior are glorified in photos, but in reality, it feels forced and fake. Lots of marketing, very little substance. Prices are high for what you actually get. On top of that, hidden costs and extra charges appear at the end. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like a wallet. Extremely poor value for money. I would never return, not even for free."

Located in the heart of beautiful Pienza, the property offers a peaceful and charming garden surrounded by just a few rooms and apartments. We love buying local food and enjoying our meals in the garden. The fridge is generously stocked for breakfast, and a supermarket, bakery, and delicatessen are only a few steps away. The host is kind, responsive, and always available via WhatsApp. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Pienza."

"If you are looking for a quiet well kept beautiful place with 360 views of the Tuscany Hills, this is the place for you. Five night stay for us. Highlights for us were the views, the grounds, the nice rooms and location to everything we wanted to see and do in Tuscany. Our room faced the sunset and two nights we opted to have wine and a Charcuterie board on our patio watching the sun set! There are many places on property to enjoy a glass of wine with a great view. And quiet, did I say quiet? We slept with the windows open. An 8- 10 minute drive gets you to Pienza or San Quirico d'Orcia which will have everything you need. The Bonello easily passes on all counts of cleanliness, functionality, hospitality. An added bonus for us was after having enjoyed their breakfast, we could go hike around the local back roads. Figured out a little late we could have hiked to both towns. Just a heads up, the traditional full time concierge desk/service is not here, and breakfast is the only meal option. You are provided local information and recommendations from a hand out you get at check in which is very useful. If you have a need you can easily find someone, but the traditional sense of front desk is not at this privately owned Agriturismo. We would definitely return. Our thanks to Luca for a Hallmark stay at The Bonello!!"
