Beliggenhed er fantastisk at se alle slags store ting i Yorkshire, perfekt til kysten og mange indre attraktioner.Vi har boet her for et par år siden og var glade for at komme tilbage."

"Stayed for 2 nights and it was super 👍breakfast was great with so much choice, the cooked breakfast was piping hot and excellent quality. the hosts Pauline and Simon were the nicest people and nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and comfortable room and a VERY comfortable bed which is always a bonus. Private parking and a lovely garden, very well situated for all amenities.i can highly recommend this guesthouse and we will definitely return."

"An excellent 'home from home' stay and a great location. It's a short walk to the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. A warm friendly welcome on arrival and we were shown immediately to our room. Our room (No6) has a great view and is spacious and bright. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Tea & Coffee making facilities along with biscuits were appreciated. The ensuite bathroom was spacious too and had complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was lovely, so many choices to pick and the portions were generous. A great place to stay!!"

"Pickering is a nice town. We took the steam train here and stayed there for one night. This hotel is similar to a family hotel, the environment is acceptable, but the services are basically non-existent. Breakfast includes two breakfasts, but an extra child has to buy it separately. Cold meals are 10 pounds and hot meals are 16 pounds. We say that the two adults who include breakfast will order hot meals, and the additional child will order cold meals. The waiter said that adults can order whatever they want on the menu and there is no quantity limit. We ordered several dishes in total, thinking they were all single items, but it turned out that each dish came with a side dish. We saw that we couldn't finish it and asked them to leave it. Don't serve the food that was served. At the end of the bill, they told us that we ordered more than two hot meals, and since the dishes that were not served would be counted, the children's portions must also be charged as hot meals. The argument failed, and they didn't listen to the explanation at all. And what's even more outrageous is that when we ordered, we clearly said that our children wanted cold meals, and we ordered more than three people. Why didn't the waiter remind us? ! The service is terrible!"

"Today I was informed that a concert we were attending had been cancelled. Once home from work I contacted the Crossways to cancel my room. I was informed to contact ******* to do this. So onto my emails... I had while 23:00 this evening to cancel at no cost. So promptly emailed to cancel my reservation. Whilst I was doing this I received an email telling me my payment had been made to The Crossways. I emailed The Crossways to ask why this had happened. I then rang my bank to cancel the payment. Then I rang The Crossways to ascertain the reason. The gentleman who I spoke to was very rude to me. He said he would get back to me in the next few days... I asked who had taken the payment and he didn't seem to know. I explained that I had only phoned less than half an hour before to cancel and was told that the hotel was not responsible as my booking was through *******. To say that I am perplexed is an understatement! I fully understand that the hotel is losing trade due to the cancellation but to blatantly mislead me is very wrong. Unfortunately I will not be spending any of my money with this hotel. A very disgruntled person."
