"Vi elskede virkelig dette hotel.Det har en traditionel hotel følelse for det, med meget venlig hjælpsom personale.Vi begyndte midt i juli og det var meget stille, så denne gennemgang kan afspejle, at da vi havde poolens drift og tjenesteydelser på grund af lav bolig. Det er beliggende uden for det gamle bycenter og du ankommer uden en bil, som vi var, du skal være moderat fitness for at gå ind i bycentret, da det er en kraftig gå op, men der er en stiger til en del af vejen. Jeg anbefaler at besøge Marmor fald, som du kan få fra Perugia station direkte via Terni.En gang på Terni er det en kort tur på bussen.Det ville jeg sige er bedst at komme tidligt for, og tilbringe hele dagen der! Også Assisi og Solleto er to andre umbriske byer på samme toglinje, vi vil bekymre os om et besøg.Rejseomkostningerne er meget rimelige.Generelt et godt sted at besøge, og Perugia hotel er et smukt sted at bo. Husk en bus er bedst at fange fra stationen til hotellet, da når du ankommer med din bagage, er pavementerne i meget dårlig tilstand til at køre en taske langs. "

Relais Dell'Olmo

"At first glance, the bed in the room allocated to us appeared spacious; but it was just two worn out single mattresses shoved together. One mattress had a significant dip; it should have been thrown away a long time ago. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor -unfortunately I did not bring my ground mat and sleeping bag. The shower cubicle was a little shabby with some tile grouting discolouration. The toilet pan had a degree of scratching/staining - probably limescale. I could not find one English speaking tv channel -so this is not an International hotel in that sense. There was often noise from the reception area and from the bar space until around midnight or 1am. The road was not busy, but due to the hotel's proximity to the road, traffic noise was a further disturbance throughout the nights."

Borgo Dei Conti Resort Relais & Chateaux

"We stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring Tuscany. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, approached by a long driveway up to an impressive main building (the resort comprises of several buildings). The welcome was warm, with a tour of the relevant aspects of the property, and a lot of information that is hard to remember - at least it was for us (in our sixties). There is nothing written down … more on this later. The rooms are generously sized with a modern decor. We booked an executive room and were upgraded to a “junior suite”. The room had no seats, except for a singe armchair on an upper level, making it difficult to sit and talk together in the room. There is a massive amount of storage, and everything worked well (no problems with air con for us). We decided to have an aperitif in the bar before dining, but after 15 minutes they still had not brought the wine! I had to go and ask to be served! There was some issue with the wine we chose, but they should have told us right away. Later we asked for some printed information about the hotel and its facilities, and were told there is a QR code to scan in the room. After dinner we searched in vain for this QR code, went down to reception to ask for it, and were then given a print out in Italian! Later on they brought the menus and wine lists from the two restaurants to our room as well! It was all a little odd - why not just display the code on the screen in reception and let us scan it? Dinner was excellent. We dined in the more informal restaurant above the pool,and the food and service were ver good, especially the sommelier, who helped us choose an excellent wine to accompany the meal. This property is very beautiful, the pool area is excellent, the rooms are well equipped and the restaurant is excellent (we did not dine in the Michelin starred one). However, the service, and the approach to service did not quite match the setting. There was a general lack of presence - we had breakfast at 7am when the service starts, but had to find someone to come and serve us! This could/should be a 5 star visit, but even though the manager gave us a handwritten apology (and a jar of honey from their local apiary) as an apology for the poor service, I can still only give 4 stars."

"Vi har besat i 3 Thania værelse i to nætter i denne lille bygning ved Perugias døre. Ærligt talt, selv om det ikke er et luksushotel, jeg virkelig kunne lide indkvartering og beliggenhed. Ubehøvlet rengøring, komfortabel seng, badeværelse men ikke meget rummeligt. Meget god morgenmad. Parkering forbeholdt indendørs (lukket) bygning. Værditilvækst centrum (ikke-prøvet) og pool, der er sikkert nyttig i sommersæsonen. Ærlige priser. Godt!"

"After a long time without taking a vacation, I had chosen this property online, which already looked promising from the photos. Already after the first phone calls for the reservation, the kindness and professionalism of Mrs. Francesca made me anticipate the future stay. On the day of check-in, everything represented in the photos materialized before my eyes: a wonderful Nature with a dense forest adjacent, a lawn and various flowering plants that surround the property. The additional surprise was the terrace in front of the hall from which you have a spectacular view of Perugia and where we had breakfast every morning. Every day that we visited a location we returned to the property to rest before dinner; it had become our oasis of peace ... in fact, to tell the truth, more than one morning we risked being late for breakfast due to the excellent night's sleep. Cleanliness, friendliness but above all experience and professionalism are guaranteed! As I specified in the title, unlike many misleading photos of locations here we had a truly satisfying experience and we will definitely return if we ever come to Umbria again. See you soon 👋👋🤗"

"This Hotel is literally hidden away under a cliff on the main road into Perugia old town. Lots of signs so you can find it easily On arrival there are plenty of spaces to park and only a 2mtr walk to the door. The reception staff are fantastic and make you feel welcome soon as you step through the door. We checked in with Andre who was charming, spoke excellent English and was more than helpful. Our room was at the front and the views were amazing. We don't normally eat in our Hotel but decided as we were tired we would. What can I say but FANTASTIC FOOD AND SERVICE. We decided that we would eat in every night. For those who are gluten intolerant or coeliac the menu caters for you. A shuttle bus is available to take you up into the old town x3 in the morning and it's literally a 20min walk back, down hill. I can't praise the Ilgo enough. It's a must for us on our next Perugian stay."

"the worst hotel in Perugia with poor service - situation from 16 years ago about the morning of departure we pay for the week as agreed with breakfast in the morning and that's it... over 500 euros we added 4.50ct, only because one morning instead of going down at 8.00 to have breakfast we went down at 8.30 and so they made us pay only because the waiters had cleared the table.. poor starving people.... HOTEL HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!"

"Staff very polite and helpful. He showed us and give us a map of the top city attractions and the walk itinerary to do. The hotel is quite charming, an old palace with frescoes ceiling. But you must like historic homes with their merits but also defects. Very good price for the location, in the city center, with parking (extra charge) , and only 15 minutes pleasant walk to reach the main fountain plaza."

"I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Rosetta Hilton in Perugia. The management team and staff deserve enormous credit for their caring, professional and genuinely helpful manner towards guests. They were absolutely faultless throughout our stay — accommodating, polite and welcoming at all times. They made us feel completely at home; thoroughly decent people doing a fabulous job. Thank you The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere was helped further by breakfast being served until 11am each morning, which made for a very civilised and unhurried start to the day. We were also very grateful to be allowed a late checkout extension until 2pm, which made our final day far more comfortable and relaxing. The hotel team also arranged a wonderful visit to the nearby Goretti Winery, where my wife and I were warmly welcomed by the charming and extremely knowledgeable Sara and Giulia Goretti, representing the fourth generation of the Goretti family estate. We were served a beautiful traditional Umbrian meal by Giulia, accompanied by the family’s exceptional wines. What made the experience even more special was that this intimate dinner for two was unexpectedly served in the tower room, surrounded by traditional family furniture and history. It created a genuine “wow” moment during our trip and became one of the highlights of our stay. The Hilton team have clearly chosen their local partnerships very well. There were just a couple of minor irritations during the stay, which I suspect may stem more from wider corporate Hilton policies than from the local hotel management itself. • One bottle of water allocated per room for the entire stay felt a little restrictive. Whilst certainly not a deal breaker, charging €4 for additional bottles seemed unnecessary and slightly mean-spirited given the otherwise excellent hospitality. • Tea and coffee facilities in the room did not include milk. I appreciate this may be less common outside the UK! Thankfully, a very kind restaurant waitress provided me with a pot of milk, which kept our supply of English Breakfast tea going throughout the stay. Overall, these were only very minor points within an otherwise excellent stay. In fact, they stood out precisely because the local management and staff were so exceptionally good in every other respect. I do wonder whether some wider corporate Hilton policies may unintentionally hinder the flexibility of the local team. A little more empowerment for the onsite management — who are already doing an outstanding job — would likely resolve these small irritations very easily. Most importantly, however, what we will remember from this trip is the warmth, kindness and professionalism of the Rosetta Hilton team, together with the unforgettable hospitality of the Goretti family. Both contributed hugely to making our visit to Perugia such a special and memorable experience. We enjoyed our time in Perugia so much that we are already planning to return for the Umbria Jazz fes"
