Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf and Spa
7,8 (99 anmeldelse)

Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf and Spa ★★★★

📍 Cardrona, Peebles

"Nice enough hotel good large clean room and bathroom. We didn't eat in the evening but did have an excellant breakfast. A couple of people we were talking to said their breakfast was slow service so we expected that but everything was great. Slight issue was slowish bar service as only one person working Played golf on a lovely course which is quite challenging but very enjoyable. Looking forward to heading there again later in the year"

"Havde en stor 4-night ophold på Tontine.Alle personalet var venligt og meget hjælpsomt.Mad var lækker og der var et godt valg.Vores yndlingssted var i loungen på en komfortabel sofa med en cocktail.Jeg håber at blive igen."

Cringletie House

Cringletie House ★★★★

📍 Edinburgh Rd, Peebles

"The hotel is fabulous and the Selkirk suite is superb. The food was sublime and the grounds are beautiful. My only gripe is that in the middle of winter, none of the gorgeous fires were lit in the public rooms, and this is one of the biggest attractions. In spite of the hotel being warm, there is nothing to beat the flames and ambience of an open fire. It felt a bit flat sitting next to a magnificent fireplace with no glow."

📍 2 Innerleithen Rd, Peebles

"Lovely room, brilliant location, staff were friendly and welcoming. Place to store bikes and sunny outdoor space. Only minor flaw was not being able to order my favourite cocktail from the bar (despite it being stocked with all the ingredients to make it). Will definitely be back."

"Hotel was in beautiful Scottish countryside. I didn't being swimming trunks so couldnt try the pool and am not a golfer. Room was a good size with a big bed. Negatives for me was the slow service at dinner and the very limited vegetarian menu."

"We had a lovely afternoon tea for Mother’s Day. Beautiful location and friendly staff. Savoury pastry excellent, sandwiches very fresh and tasty. Excellent scones, some of the best I’ve had - and I have been to lots of afternoon teas! Lovely rooms and I’d love to spend more time exploring."

"Smukt værelse, glimrende beliggenhed, personale var venligt og velkommen.Placering til at opbevare cykler og solrige udendørs rum.Kun en mindre fejl kunne ikke bestille min yndlings cocktail fra baren (selvom den blev opbevaret med alle ingredienserne til at gøre det). Han er sikkert tilbage."
