"During our bicycle holiday we were guests at Chateau Maranne in Parthenay. We were very friendly welcomed, and surprised by the fantastic beautiful and subtle furnished interior of our stay and our room. They also made a gastronomic dinner for us and served as if we were royals. Afterwards we could enjoy the jacuzzi, again in a fantastic framework. Also breakfast was happy in the beautiful garden. We only regret one thing, and that was that we could only stay there one night."

"AMAZING service from the team. We went for part of our honeymoon and they really made us feel special. We want to go back and spend more time there. We were lucky to spend time in the chateau, which has been turned into modern apartments. Very comfortable and extremely good value. We could have actually just stayed inside rather than going out. The complex is mainly an old people's retirement community, and the residents were lovely to us as we walked around. We certainly are planning on returning next time we are in Parthenay."

"Excellent little hotel, easy walk to town. Very friendly. Good breakfast and English spoken which was a real bonus. Pool area lovely & water refreshing. Nice restaurant open most lunch and evening With a good selection of wine."
