"Campagna Country House exceeded all of our expectations. Roberto and his family could not have been more welcoming as our hosts. The breakfasts were beyond amazing--an abundance of delicious croissants (best we've ever had!), meats & cheeses on foccacia, cakes and breads from beloved family recipes, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade jams from their organic orchard, cappuccino, and all presented beautifully. The suite of rooms was perfect for our daughter & her family. The nearby Mothia room on the upper floor was perfect for my husband and me. The views from our rooms were breathtaking. Roberto offered us suggestions for nearby restaurants, and we loved Nerocento, the food and, as writers, the theme of typography/publishing. We appreciated the laundry service during our extended stay. With Campagna as our base camp, we had wonderful day trips to Selinunte, Marsala, Mazara Delle Valle, the beach near Sciacca, the memorial art installation to the nearby town destroyed by an earthquake. Most of all, we just loved relaxing and enjoying the sunshine, a nice December-January break from the cold, grey and dark of Sweden.
