Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel - Adults Only

"Atlantica Golden Beach We are regular users of the Atlantica Hotels and Tui hotels in Cyprus for about 15 years. This is the second year at Atlantica Golden Beach hotel. Stayed here 28th June 26 to 8th July 26. Met on arrival a by an older male who was there last year, his usual speech down to a patter for each new arrival. We were lucky to have the same room as last year after emailing the hotel directly weeks prior to our arrival. Due to the late evening arrival we were given the packed lunch bag with a pack of Cheese & Ham sandwiches , crisps and apples , a nice gesture but the sandwiches started to go hard , after a long journey a small warm meal would have been better like we’ve had at a few hotels we previously stayed at which is a good standard, the only downside is a lack of electrical sockets near the bedside table so we had to charge our phones etc by the TV. The cleaning staff were good throughout our stay , Remember to press the button by the door to illuminate Red in the corridor if you don’t require the room cleaned. The reception staff were great , polite and courteous our whole stay. They also sorted out the late check out room. Nikki at the Guest Experience desk opposite reception is a wealth of knowledge of Cyprus and in my opinion under used by the Atlantica hotel. Some Reception staff struggle to give the guests the full info on excursions available, not informing them of driving licence requirements for vehicle rentals and extra charges made at some events and locations, due to their lack of knowledge. AVGERINOS and his staff at the main restaraunt were great again this year. Sadly I felt the selection of food available wasn’t the same standard has last year plus the selection of food seemed to be a lot more Pork this year, perhaps trying to lower costs. I found they seemed to run out of breakfast food like fried eggs and seemed slow to react to refill quickly, one morning at 0850 they had no bread rolls available in the bread baskets, the chef was informed and bread rolls were still not available 20 minutes later, only sliced brown bread was available. I know it’s a busy restaraunt but they should be on top of refilling food trays before depletion. The water cooler machine at the restaraunt patio are wasn’t very cool after somebody else filled their ninja type water cooler canisters, I did see a few people using pre used bottles under the fillers although told this was not allowed. Please visit the patio area and order drinks from the amazing Nicolleta and her fellow staff, she made our holiday feel special this year again. They have removed free bar snacks and small plates of crisps this year but you can pay €1.50 for a small packet of crisps at the bars. We purchased 10 packs of Lays cheese and onion from the Paphos Mall shop for €6.50. The little things like this sometimes makes or breaks a holiday. The pool bar staff were excellent , Nikita , Maria, Zoltan , Dawa and the other lad were very hard working and"

"Nice hotel on the Paphos beach promenade. The hotel is a lovely 4-star establishment with all necessary amenities. The pool is clean, with warm water and plenty of sunbeds on the grass. Some sunbeds should be change for new ones. Pool towels can be exchanged anytime from 10 AM until the end of the day. Breakfast is fresh, offering a variety of food for everyone. The room is spacious with a good-sized balcony; the bathroom is new with a walk-in shower. While the furniture is a bit dated, everything functions well, including the TV, in-room safe, and various lighting options. The mattress feels new and is comfortable. The cleaning team is doing a great work in rooms a public facilities. The pool bar is always open with staff ready to serve. The check-in counter is helpful with any issues; they assisted me with my safe when I entered the wrong code. For late checkout, you can use the pool and the spa/gym area to shower before your flight."

I must mention that the hotel service is at the highest level and is very kind and helpful. The food is also very high quality. I can recommend it with complete confidence!"

"A very good stay here, looks like there has been a lot of work put into making the hotel look so good. Unfortunately there is no pool or bar at the hotel. You can use the sister hotel which is about 10 minutes walk away. The room 101, was very comfortable and clean, with a balcony which had sun all day with a bit of shade in the doorway. The shower/toilet is smallish a large person may struggle entering the shower. The room was cleaned each day and towels every 2nd day, however you could ask for a daily change of towels. No fridge in the room, you need to rent one, Air Con was efficient particularly as it was hot and humid at night. Desk Staff were very friendly and a request for extra pillows was answered very quickly. Housekeeping staff were also friendly however their english and my Greek wasn't very good. The only downfall was our expectation of what the buffet breakfast was going to be. In my opinon it was basic, Bread/toast, spread, jams, olives, grapes, bananas (missing one day as not enought), yogurt, 2 x cold meat, 1 x cheese, cucumber, tomato, 2 x cereals, Juice, water, small pastries and tea/coffee. Going by the turnaround of people we saw using the hotel it would seem to be a popular place to stay for short breaks 3 - 4 day. No noise from the nearby bars or restaurants and the roadway being one way was also quiet. There was some building work next to the hotel, unfortunately thjere were a couple of early starts. No lift, I believe there some ground and the rest are first floor rooms. Contary to a previous review there was no evidence of this being a destination for boozy brits seeking a cheap holiday. It is near to Bar street, however there are lots of nice restaurants nearby. Would certainly use the hotel again, perhaps without the breakfast option."

"Wow, I arrived in Cyprus and stayed elsewhere first and discovered Pandream through a friend. After having a drink and getting to know the pool bar manager, i decided to finsish my last three days at Pandream. Jamie the bar manager was an amazing guy you will instantly get on with. From Bonnie Scotland and bar amazing cocktail / bar knowledge. The accommodation is great too, great showers, air con, balconies and pool area all spot on. Close to restaurants and local shops and only €2 bus ride to the airport. Great all rounder for me. 😊 I couldn't faul it for the cost, definitely be back (mostly for Jamies drinks) again."
