"This is our third visit to this apartment complex, you get a very warm welcome and the staff all speak English, Rural self-catering with lovely swimming pool and a small pool for the little ones. The apartments are nice and comfortable with pleasant quite surrounds and the restaurant is very pleasant, continental breakfast is included in the price, free Wi-Fi in the restaurant and bar area, a car really is an essential if you want to discover the surrounding area, 55 km from Lisbon and 10 km from Setubal, a taxi from Lisbon Airport around 60 Euros. Excellent base for explore the region, Palmela Castle, Setubal city for shopping and supermarket for all your needs, from Setubal you can get the ferry boat to Troia Peninsula complex and beach, a visit to Lisbon is a most, you can get a train from Lisbon to Sintra or Estoril, a visit to Belem to the famous "Pastel de Nata" (custard tart) Overall a good place to spend a quit holiday, I recommend the Palmela Apartments. We drove from Newcastle to Plymouth and then Brittany Ferries to Santander(Spain) and from Santander to the Palmela Apartments is a 7 hour drive. I do recommend these apartments."

"All I liked was that the room was big,aspartments in total decline on the page offer you all the services I put on the photo and the only thing I had true is parking and air conditioning, we expressly book it for The pool is in August and it's very warm , when they arrive, they give us the room and tell us that the pool doesn't work, we take a total rack, they have only one employee for everything, for breakfast, reception, It was supposed to be banned smoking but the whole hotel smells of tobacco,the TV didn't work, we had to programme the TV channels every time we started it,we had to ask towels because they had put us for one person, Super dirty top boxes, fallen walls outside have supposedly meeting rooms but access is blocked with big maceters so you don't pass .....Finally a disaster, breakfast is very poor, Bread without cheese if you want to cheese it the employee must come from the reception to cheese it because they don't put it out, they only have, jam York, cheese, butter, cereals, yoghurt,all in a small amount of three or four units for all guests."

"Came here solo on my birthday and loved it. Such a relaxing vibe, staff were super friendly and chill. Mosquito nets and a fan were all available in the room to cope in the heat. Paid extra for dinner and got a delicious selection of courses, and generous portions. Staff were super accommodating when I couldn't finish it all, too, and put the leftovers in jars for me to enjoy later, which I really appreciated. It's a super laid-back place to stay, amidst stunning surroundings. Would absolutely come again for a solo retreat or with friends, would love to explore the surrounding areas more."
