"This hotel needs to seriously rethink itself, at least as as far as my experience is concerned. We had a six day stay, half board in a second floor room with a private pool. It certainly looks good on the outside and the pools and beach are wonderful, but… The pool is a gimmick, maybe fun for kids to splash around in but far to small for use by adults. The hotel decided to do some work on the roof over the terrace and pool while I was enjoying my book seated on the terrace. I had to flee as it rained muck and water from the intervention rendering the terrace and the pool unusable. I expected these to be cleaned once they had finished, but this did not happen and needed a trip to the front desk to resolve. The roof still leaks when it rains, so the terrace is basically unusable. In fact with one downpour the room was almost flooded as the drain was blocked and the water accumulated. Next day, the pool was still dirty. Then the air conditioning in our room decided to malfunction, very likely due to the episode of the previous day, pouring water over our open suitcase just underneath. OK, my fault for leaving it there, but we had to go find housekeeping and maintenance guy to fix and clean. The room itself while spacious, is not aging well. But while I have to admit, these are not daily occurrences, its pretty annoying especially when no apology was forthcoming. More frequent issues relate to the quasi inexistant internet, which when it did function was certainly not high speed. Also, the meals while adequate were not particularly appealing or varied. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our grilled seafood platter for lunch, which of course was outside our meal plan. The housekeeping and bar staff are all very pleasant but have a tendency to forget things. The nightly turn down service with the anti mosquito spray showed up too late for us each night, While the beach is a short walk away from the hotel, the path is littered with rubbish and shards from broken bottles. It must be said this land is not actually owned by the hotel, but it has to be crossed and best not bare footed. My last gripe relates to the 5% surcharge that they impose for payment by credit card…"

"Even though I’m not staying at the hotel, I came to chill by the pool and had a really good experience at Ndame Beach Lodge in Paje. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, the pool area is beautiful, and the whole place looks very well maintained. What stood out the most was the service — the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive from the moment I arrived. You can really feel the good vibe of the place. It's definitely one of the spots in Paje worth visiting even just for a relaxing day by the pool. Highly recommended!"

"This is my second stay in Paje by Night, and I couldn’t be more satisfied! The setting is beautiful, with a fantastic garden full of greenery. The atmosphere is so relaxing….! The beach is only a couple of minutes away, but there is also a very nice pool to relax by…! The food served is of very good quality, but above all very tasty! Most importantly, all the staff is beyond fantastic! From the cleaners, the waiters to the reception staff and the owners, everyone has been an absolute star to make sure our stay was great! Thank you for everything! We will be back!"

"A lovely quiet stay of 13 nights though it was interrupted for a couple of nights by a rowdy large group of at least 10 Unfortunately nothing was done to stop their loud late nights by the pool til 1am . The hotel served a lovely breakfast with attentive staff . We chose this hotel as reasonably priced & very close to the beach ,2nd row. We did enjoy our stay "

"A very modern and new hotel in Paje. It's not directly on the beach, but a free shuttle service to the beach is offered. The rooms are superbly equipped, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great food, excellent waiters. A fantastic spa (Edwina gives wonderful massages). Food and drinks can be ordered via WhatsApp to the pool or your room. All in all, excellent service that we highly recommend!"

"Min partner og jeg blev i Casa Ananda i fem dage, men vi ville ønske, vi havde længere der.Jeg kan ikke understrege nok, hvor fantastisk personalet er der.Instant fik os til at føle os hjemme. Fra Thompson og Twalibu i receptionen til Shedy fra Gæstetjenester, gjorde disse mennesker virkelig oplevelsen speciel for os.Især efter et sidste minuts forslag på grund af en annulleret safari.De var lige så glade som os! Maden i restauranten var nogle af de bedste på stranden foran, og den smukke afslappet atmosfære virkelig opsummerer livsstilen i Zanzibar.Når vi er tilbage, bliver vi her.Hakuna Matata"

"Det er en meget smuk hotel smuk beliggenhed.Mad er god i restauranten.Værelset er meget rent, men der var lidt varmt vand, så vi ikke kunne fylde badeværelset. Servicen skal forbedres, vi ankom, men ingen tog bagaget, så jeg måtte bære dem.Rengøringsdamen kom til vores værelse en time før checken ud og hun lagde sine rengøringsmidler på vores terrasse. Jembe pool drengen var meget venlig, han viste os rundt om hotellet og tog nogle gode billeder for mig og min kone."
