"It's hard to review this time because booking was moved to the Mercure next door. I understand why but I do prefer the Ibis. NOTE this review relates to Mercure Paignton. Staff friendly and welcoming and though room had everything I needed it was dark. The privacy panel on the window and the dark furniture made it too dark for me. Am not a black and gold person, prefer light and bright. That being said facilities were great, bed very comfortable and show hot and powerful. One downside was TV remote, had a nightmare and needed to 'Google' to work out how to use it. I didnt eat onsite."

Mercure Paignton Hotel ★★★★

"We have stayed there before and we are pleased with the room (a couple and a young child in the double room with sofabed) size is decent, not huge but enough room for us. Clean, friendly staff and £15 a day for parking (EV charging at their car park). There is also an outdoor public carpark at the end of the road for about £10 for 24 hours if the hotel carpark is full (we did have to park there, a few mins walk)"

"My single bedroom was ideal for myself and very clean and everything I needed for my stay staff was helpful and close to all amenities great value for money and would definitely go bk there can't give feed bk on breakfast as I didn't have it"

"Just spent 3 days at St Edmunds Guest House Paignton. Proprietors Roger and Linda Thomas make you very welcome with very modern and clean rooms. Great breakfasts with lots of choice. Guest house has parking and is well situated for restaurants, bars, bus and rail station, worth a visit."

Beach Hotel Torbay B&B ★★

Der er to elektriske sokker og fire USB-udgange ved siden af hver seng.Mens vinduet ser langs kysten i stedet for direkte ud til havet, er udsigten meget behagelig.Den engelske morgenmad var god, og manageren, Adam, meget hjælpsom. Der er parkering på en hård parkering ved siden af hotellet.Søen og piben er tæt på, og det vigtigste indkøbsområde er gåbart.Overordnet nydte vi vores ophold meget. To konstruktive forslag er (1) et hylde i badeværelset til toiletter, der ikke vil stå på toppen af den kurvede dyk, og (2) levering af en toiletbøsse."

"Generally very tired hotel in need of a considerable uplift. Staff not really bothered, Brewers Fayre lacklustre. Carpets in restaurant quite filthy and I would suggest an EHO would condemn them. Also, menu choice severely restricted, Assistance room only OK as in need of change (as per assistance room at PI Exeter St David's). Suggest remove the bath and replace with walk-in shower (much safer). I've stayed in many Premier Inns around the country and this is the first negative review I have written."
