Cbh Chevin Country Park Hotel and Spa

"The room was very dark and dated, there were  a few cobwebs but other than that it was basically clean. The bed was lovely, great mattress, lovely clean sheets and extra pillows, we had a great nights sleep. The bathroom was clean as well. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but just not enough of them! We did not have time to make use of the spa, as we were there for a wedding so I cannot comment on that, but other guests told me it was good. I would stay there again."

Timble Inn

"I'm going to say a 4 on this visit, we've not been for a while so maybe spoilt by where we have been going. The room was lovely but cold on arrival and despite turning the rad on, we had to find a fan heater to get it to temperature, otherwise very clean and comfortable. The evening meal was very nice from the a la carte menu, but small portions. I had 3 courses and a side of mash, but still came away a tad hungry, and I'm not a big eater, good job there were 2 biscuits in the room which were welcome Breakfast was very nice, scrambled egg resembled baby food unfortunately but the rest of the full english was spot on. My Wife said hers was good also. It's also good the know the staff are happy when they are serving singing along to the music. All in all, a nice stay...."

The Horse & Farrier

"Room are up several sets of stairs, on the plus side there's no noise from the downstairs pub (they have music on Thursdays). There's a second exit to the rear car-park, although the hotel has only 4 spaces it backs onto the large North Parade car park. The location is close by the river which has a nice bank-side walk and it's within walking distance of everything else in Otley. I can't comment on the dinner as the chef was on maternity leave and evening meals were 'off' but the cooked breakfast was fine and the range of beers and ales in the bar was good. Rooms are comfortable but quite small, from memory there's 4 or 5 in what seems to be loft conversion. My room was shower only via an instant electric heater which was actually OK. Other facilities in the room were fine, with a small desk, kettle, wardrobe etc. An annoyance was the room doors are on automatic closers, probably for fire regs, and other guests did let them slam shut. I'm sure closers can be adjusted so avoid that! WiFi was OK, but they were having some problems when I was there, maybe linked to the till not accepting credit cards. I paid via *********** to resolve that. All in all, I thought decent value and really nothing startling to complain about. "
