"Meget pænt hotel, vi boede i 3 nætter og det var ved siden af stranden, meget behageligt!"

"This hotel absolutely does not deserve its 4 stars, the positive point is the cleanliness of the rooms. The swimming pool, the sauna and the hammam and the “playground” area but that’s the only thing. The rooms are from another time (1960) The bathtub/shower taps almost broken, almost no water pressure Horrible heat in the rooms. The wallpaper that is peeling off The courtesy tray consists of a kettle (from the 80s) and a few tea bags, really not worthy of a 4 star. The gentleman at reception is unpleasant. If you want a bathrobe for the swimming pool, it costs 5 euros per person. The lunch buffet is not great and not very varied, the lady who takes care of it is not more friendly than the one at reception. Very disappointed with this hotel, I absolutely do not recommend!!!"

"The hotel is located one tram stop or 15 min walking from the Oostende train station. It is very close to the casino and the beach. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is a little pricey /9 I had breakfast elsewhere. Overall, it was a pleasant stay which is quite affordable."

"Very nice hotel from the 30iger-Jahren. Friendly, solution-oriented and advanced staff. Top location. Beautiful large rooms. Because the age of the hotel has its pieces. Partly you can't open the nice large windows and it is very ringhorse. We were there two nights and could sleep very badly because of a large group of young athletes (a football tournament took place), who were constantly celebrating in the room. The hotel management has apologised in all its forms to us and explained that despite security operations, they could not better manage the situation. In conclusion! We very much recommend the hotel."

"Det var meget godt, du bare gå ind når du vil. Åbningstider på baren var ikke vigtige. Morgenmad/indtjekning og check ud lige ved hovedbygningen i Prado selv. Hvis det er 100 m længere væk, er det meget 😃🤷"

"Don't understand the positive reviews about this hotel. The building is falling apart dangerous cracked part of wall next to entry stairs, no stair rail very steep stair case, passage lights only one of 3 working, block bathroom basin for whole 4 nights stay, broken bedlamps and was bitten by insect in the room. First morning breakfast was fabulous, hotel fully booked, but after that it appears the left overs were cut into bite size pieces after the most guests checked out. 2nd morning tea kettle boiling water cold. Seems the hotel is struggling on a very tight budget and trying to save by not doing repairs cutting back on the very expensive €25 breakfast and electicity by not boiling the kettle and keeping it warm and not lighting all the lights in the passage to the rooms Price advertised for 4 nights £398 including fees and taxes but when booked actually £10.05 more which they tried to justify with taxes and fees which the ad said was already in. Location is almost on the beach but more than a mile away from the CBD. Terrible hotel, best avoid!"

"I had such a wonderful stay at the Ostendien Hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything felt perfectly organized and welcoming. The management really knows how to run a hotel, and the staff was always so friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless – you can tell how much care goes into keeping everything clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight with lots of tasty options to start the day right, and in the evening the hotel bar became my favorite spot – great atmosphere and fantastic drinks. Overall, it was a flawless experience. I honestly couldn’t ask for more and will definitely come back on my next trip to Ostend!"

"Unpleasant and dishonest... During a weekend in Ostend, we stayed at Hotel Europe. The staff at the reception are unfriendly. To punctuate everything, we left a shirt and two jackets in the bedroom wardrobe when we left. We went back to school in the afternoon and the clothes disappeared. We felt like we were annoying the receptionist. I'm still waiting for management to get back to me after 3 emails and a message... For a 4 star, it's a shame. Don't go there... "

"Neat and comfortable and brilliantly situated for staters. Rooms are cosy and clean. We had breakfast every morning - a varied hot and cold selection to choose from. Very good coffee. Set us up for the day. But it was the staff that made the stay that more pleasant. A special thank you to Ellen, receptionist extraordinaire, a warm and smiley presence at hand to help and always overseeing. We recommend this hotel full heartily."

"Nice studio, nice terrace. View of the sea is not really applicable, in the far distance you can see a little bit of the sea. No coffee available, bed creaks but clean. Much too warm!!! You could not turn down the heating! That was a real shame because I was boiling hot during the night."

"Located in the heart of Oostende, this hotel is a has quite a bit of charm of the old days (art-deco dining room and many original details in the public spaces). Interiors of the rooms are a little bit more modern, albeit the age starts showing. The room was, however, clean and tidy. The owner/manager was very nice and offered an option to check in later than originally planned. She also offered guidance around the town, and was overall super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day rather well, Disliked · I would consider starting renovations as soon as possible, as the rooms are ageing and this translates into some things being broken or on the verge of being broken. WIFI didn't quite work."

"Don’t look anywhere else! This is a friendly and welcoming hotel with great service. It’s so handy to get up the coast as well as going to Brugge for the day. The breakfast is fantastic with such a variety of quality food. The car parking is very handy too! Highly recommend!"

"Travelled with Crusader/Mott coach company for a 3 night stay. Warm friendly welcome by the staff, room was lovely. Evening meal excellent, breakfast plentiful. UNFORTUNATELY THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO BOOK ADDITIONAL EVENING MEALS AT THE RESTAURANT... many disappointed clients."
