However, I was bothered by the fact that two men who were not guests suddenly showed up at that time and continued to talk to the young woman at the front desk without ordering anything. What's more, the woman was closing the front desk while talking to her friend on speakerphone (at full volume), which made it very difficult to relax. They seemed like high school students working part-time and still getting used to the place, so I don't think it was the inn's policy, but it didn't have the atmosphere of a local izakaya or a guesthouse where you'd normally socialize, which was disappointing. I guess it's because it's an island that things are more relaxed, but I thought I'd write this review in the hope that they'd improve if I were to stay again."

She not only drives you, she creates an experience: taking us to the trailhead for our hike, picking us up at the onsen afterward, bringing us to a neighboring village for dinner, and even collecting us after the restaurant—all along beautiful panoramic routes.
