"Weekend for my anniversary 16/17 March. Location. Well isolated with nature has lost sight. The room: a kingsize bed, a sofa bed. Between are very comfortable. The room is perfect, well decorated in a purely Norman style. The bathroom is large,servies are available.cleanness is innocent. The spa side, swimming pool. A electric massage chair that makes the job perfectly,a sauna,a swimming pool at 28° . All in a tastefully decorated interior framework. The dinner is made in a convenient way with the guests and others who stay.The dishes are local, generous, and perfect to discover Normandy. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a perfect weekend where everything is pleasant, from the framework to the food through the hotels."

"The room was tight with space and the shower room the size of a closet. The wash basin was cracked. Where the manager was very charming and helpful her staff left much to be desired. Their body language left one with the impression that they were tired of tourists invading their space; indifferent and could not look at you in the eye. Table service was very poor showing a lack of training and experience. We were seated at a table but not given any menus. After waiting a quarter of an hour we noticed other couples arriving were seated and given menus immediately. At that point I got up and asked a member of staff for a menu. Having supplied our order we were kept waiting half an hour before the first course arrived while other customers who had arrived after us were served before us. Our dinner took us two and a half hours! On departure, after two nights, we were checked out by one of the assistants who was very curt, could not look at me in the eye and could not bring herself to wish us a pleasant journey! Cannot recommend this hotel"

"Vi sad på 1. sal af "hoved" bygningen og havde der 2 separate værelser. Møbler er meget gammel og værelser gjorde et stofigt og ikke helt rent indtryk. 1 af værelserne havde ingen gardin. Beddengod var gammel (en smule slidt lagner) og muffig. Modtagelse af ejeren var meget venlig og hjælpsom. Morgenmad ikke meget, (ingen frisk) brød med kun en kop fløde, yoghurt og æblejuice. Teposer så også meget gammelt. Omgivelser er smuk, rummelig have og nær by med nogle restauranter."

"Secure parking was a must for us, and this was provided here, free. Check in was easy, pleasant man on reception was also able to recommend a nearby restaurant, which we used, and had a lovely meal. Our room was large with tea/ coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable and large. We had a walk in shower, the water pressure was good and the water was hot. I like the squeezy soap bottles on the wall, as there's always plenty! Breakfast was lovely, no hot food available but plenty of everything and no pressure to eat up and go. Lovely dining room. We only stayed one night, to break up a long journey, but I would recommend this hotel and would stay again."

"The hotel is very well located in Bagnoles! The rooms are a little old but it's very clean and the comfortable bed! The service is pleasant, the restaurant is pleasantly surprised by the quality of the metres and the presentation!"

Brit Hotel du Dauphin l'Aigle

"Very beautiful facade but that's it! We're going to start with the mold in the bathroom, the tiles that are coming off, we're afraid that it will slip when we take a bath. The soundproofing is simply catastrophic, we sleep with the neighbors, the simple phone call we can hear the conversation, the doors slamming at 7 a.m. which wakes everyone up. The bedroom entrance door does not close properly and the door closer does not hold but it slams. The price of a simple chocolate and espresso is €10, so even if there is a gourmet restaurant I don't think that a simple chocolate and coffee is as gourmet! Bad experience for a romantic weekend."

"We had enjoyed our stay here last year and it seemed a convenient stop off from the ferry port to the Loire Valley. There had been significant refurbishment since last year and there have been some improvements. We received a warm welcome and the room was comfortable. We hadn't realised when we booked that being there on a Monday evening meant a restricted menu but we had booked half board so we had no real choice about where to eat. We didn't need to be concerned, dinner was wonderful. A lovely terrine to start then a lamb casserole which was unbelievably tender and tasty. Next morning the breakfast was also very good. It's a great place to stay and we look forward to returning in future."
