"After checking out around 10 AM on November 21st, I discovered around 1 PM that my credit card and approximately 1000 RMB had been stolen from my wallet. The wallet was still there, but the money and credit card were gone. The wallet had never been taken out of the hotel room. It contained RMB cash and a spare credit card, and was placed in a zippered pocket of my sports bag. I'm certain it was stolen between 10 AM and 6 PM on November 20th. The fact that the thief put the wallet back after stealing the credit card and cash proves he had ample time to commit the crime. Furthermore, he knew when I checked out, so within two minutes and three hours of my departure, he fraudulently used over $3800 USD. I assumed, as a traveler, I was already on my flight. I was still in Orlando! Therefore, everyone should be extremely careful when staying in hotels, as internal theft is much harder to prevent. I contacted the hotel security at the front desk and also called 911."
