"Casa Nova is a luxurious, beautiful, and comfortable B&B. The hosts carefully restored the building with incredible attention to detail. The bedroom felt luxurious with very comfortable, high-quality bedding, and a small balcony with a view over the grounds and across Oamaru with the ocean in the distance. I especially loved the high-pressure shower. The hosts, Brenda and Katrina, excel in hosting, as well, making us feel very welcome during our two-night stay and sharing many tips with us for our two days in Oamaru (like many tourists, we were there mainly to see the little blue penguins, and we also got lucky in sighting yellow-eyed penguins at Bushy Beach). With only three guest rooms, the hosts attend to carefully to everyone, and the delicious hot breakfast is fully customized based on each guest's preference. Casa Nova is a lovely accommodation and was a highlight of our trip around the South Island of New Zealand. We highly recommend staying here when in Oamaru."
