Sam who runs the main reception desk was very helpful on two occasions when I needed some assistance with technology. Overall, the accommodation has been adequate. They have a pub next door which is very handy for drinks and food. I would stay here again it’s very convenient. Sam has been absolutely fantastic."

"Apartment hotel, second stay, the room type is different from the last time, it is a sloping roof room on the top floor, there is no kitchen and living and dining room, it is a whole large bedroom. The view and lighting of the Velux sloping roof window are good, it is a very good experience. The only problem is the location of the bathroom cabinet. Because of the height of the sloping roof against the wall, you will hit your head when brushing your teeth and washing your face, and tall people need to squat."

"we stayed in a club room, which came with gym and pool access - the facilities are good and the gym is fully equipped. The ladies serving breakfast are very friendly especially young Asian girl and there are veg options available. Nature reserve only 10 mins walk from the hotel - highly recommend. The room itself had issues with wifi and tv signal. I logged a complaint on their app but nobody came so the next day I had to go to reception again. They didn’t give me a solution like moving room for a better wifi. Club Rooms don’t have a fridge or a telephone so you have to send messages via chat which is annoying."

"Everything was fine until the fire alarm went off at 5am this morning. The hotel evacuated and most people left out on the front freezing. Staff running around saying they didn’t know how to turn it off and that they were “new”. Concerningly staff weren’t challenging people who were frustrated and returning to their rooms as 45 minutes later the fire alarm was still going off. The fire service turned up to try and turn off the fire alarm system. Everyone returned to their rooms at 6am - 1 hour later. Very difficult to go back to sleep at this point. Worst fire protocol I’ve ever seen which raises huge safety concerns. Rumour has it at breakfast it was due to someone smoking in their room. Surely this isn’t the first time such a thing has happened. Residents safety put at considerable risk. A complete waste of £450 for the 4 rooms I booked. Won’t be staying again."

"I booked a fairly large room on the second floor with a view of the church and street across the street. The furniture and curtains felt a bit old-fashioned, which I didn't like. The floorboards also creaked when I walked on them. On the day of check-in, they said the elevator was broken and didn't help with my luggage; luckily, I tried the elevator myself and finally got it upstairs. The breakfast was decent, with a buffet of drinks, bread, yogurt, and snacks, and you could also order eggs and a full English breakfast."
