"My Luyashan Self-Driving Hotel Experience: Clear Pros and Cons, a Guide for Drivers to Avoid Pitfalls While driving through Luyashan, I was captivated by the hotel's appearance and amenities, so I booked it right away. The experience was a mixed bag, so I'm sharing this for your reference. Let me start with the unpleasant part: On the night of my stay, the air conditioner made a noticeable noise as soon as I turned it on, which you can clearly hear in the video. Imagine, in the quiet of the night, this constant noise in the room was truly disturbing and disruptive. Even more frustrating was the next morning (a weekend) at 10:00 AM, when the room phone rang. The waiter, in an almost imperative tone, said, "The plumbing in your room needs maintenance. If you want to wash up, you must do so by 10:30 AM." I was perplexed: It wasn't my fault that the plumbing broke, and even if I had communicated with them in advance and been more gentle, this blunt notification was truly unpleasant (Ctrip records the call, which are readily available). Later, after checking the hotel reviews, I finally understood why such service was offered. It wasn't all bad, though. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly during my midday check-out, which certainly redeemed the experience. Finally, a tip for those driving: take a 30-minute drive to the surrounding area and compare prices."

"This hotel offers extremely poor value for money; I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I had originally booked for four nights, but ended up checking out after just one and moving to another place. 1. **Non-existent soundproofing:** You can hear conversations from every room around you – above, below, and on both sides. The kid next door kept asking their smart speaker to play 'Two Tigers'. 2. **Inadequate curtains:** The curtains were too small to cover the window completely, so the room was fully lit by 5 or 6 AM. 3. **Expensive and unappetizing Chinese food:** I ordered a stew and spare ribs. The stew was inedibly salty and full of just potatoes and noodles. The spare ribs were mostly batter with hardly any meat."

This is an ordinary farmyard, with relatively clean beds and a bathroom where you can take a bath, and parking is available in the yard outside. But there is a socket panel in the whole room (you can ask the landlord to insert the board), the TV cannot be watched, please bring your own bath towels and disposable slippers. In addition, the road to this yard is relatively narrow, and it will be a little troublesome to come over at night. The last section of the road into the yard was not repaired.
