"I needed a place for an overnite stay, no time to enjoy the pool unfortunately, as I was using Moonlite to break up a long drive from Canada... My room was clean, bed was comfortable, although I would have personally preferred softer pillows, just the way I sleep. Microwave and fridge are always welcome, wish there had been a coffee maker as well, but I realize that some places forgo that convenience because they 'disappear'. Dunkin' Donuts is a short drive away, so not a problem. It's an older building, but the owners have made some upgrades, light switches, ceiling tiles, overhead lighs, and an easy to use modern 'deadbolt' that prevents unwanted access... Most appreciated was the help I received from Mary, whose family owns the place... I had a different reservation that needed to be changed (several weeks in advance) and the booking agency, Agoda, was making it difficult. Mary went above and beyond to assist me in cancelling the original, so I re-booked for the different date. Convenient, quiet location (I had a back corner room, and even with the window open, didn't notice much noise at all, despite the nearby highway. They deserve a better rating, when you need a place to stay, give them a try (just avoid Agoda!!)"

"The hotel is extremely dated, filthy carpet, musty smelling. The bathroom has hair on the floor, the bed and sheets as well as comforter all had hair on them. The staff was nice when I fully stripped bed and took down to front desk and gave bed clothes to replace. The area was better than where falls are that area is very rough and in a ghetto. Many updates also need done for restaurants like in little Italy where there is nothing but boarded up buildings and people dealing on streets so make sure u are not out past dark. Even if that means you miss the fireworks over the falls"
