"Vi bookede dette hotel for sin beliggenhed tæt på både jernbanestationen og Utilita Arena og det var perfekt.Personalevenlig, morgenmad inkluderet. "Very good location next to train station. Very quiet location but also orime for shopping and night life. Short walk. Local shops and takeaways. Abundance of chain restaurants short distance. Apartments very clean, and had everything required. Was better than a hotel stay. Could cook and had dishwasher if needed. Free 24 hour tea and coffee from lobby and complimentary quants in the morning. Staff are very friendly and helped for local restaurant selection. They also support the homeless when you purchases slippers. They also offer discount for a car park 5 min walk away. Would definitely stay here again"

"If you rely on a CPAP machine, think carefully before booking here. There is no power socket on the left-hand side of the bed, and the one on the right did not work. When I did eventually find a member of staff, she gave me an extension lead, which got the machine running but I had to use it on the right-hand side, and the bedside table is so small that the machine had to sit on the sofa instead. Workable, just, but not what you expect when you have told the hotel you need it. The bigger problem is that finding staff at all is a challenge. Reception was unstaffed for most of the stay, not just at check-in. On one occasion I rang the bell around fifteen times and waited fifteen minutes with no response. A hotel with nobody on the front desk cannot deal with problems in any reasonable time. On top of that, the sink in my room was blocked and unusable, and one of the shared coffee machines at breakfast was out of order for the whole stay. Individually these might be forgivable. Together they suggest a property that is not being maintained or properly staffed. If you have medical equipment that needs power by the bed, look elsewhere."

"Where to start… if you are a masochist then you are in luck! Hard bed. Extortionate parking (20 a day). **** and alcohol fuelled neighbours wandering the streets, screaming and yelling, making sure you never enjoy more than an hours sleep and a bathroom that is so badly designed, you can’t have a bath or a shower! The scrambled eggs at breakfast are a solid, tasteless lump of yellowish matter. A true delight! To get into the car park we had to get the rough sleepers to move so we could drive down the access tunnel, which they were sleeping in. Nice guys and I was very uncomfortable having them pick up their belongings to allow me access. It felt very wrong. When we checked in we were told the car park is privately owned and despite the hotel advertising it at £10 per day, the charge is in fact, £20. Payable immediately. I’d rather that extra went to the guys in the tunnel. It was clear the front desk knew of the issues with false pricing online but don’t care. We went upstairs and found our deluxe room was anything but. The bath was so small, that as a 5 foot tall women, it was still too small for me! This did not prove to be an issue as the plug didn’t work and water just drained straight out. The shower is a fixed head, and was two foot above me. Designed for a man and of little practical use to me. I did ask for the plug to be fixed. It wasn’t! Could not wait to leave! Horrible experience around."

"My boyfriend and I were really impressed with the Coach House in Otterburn. It’s in a beautiful location and the inside of the hotel is very nicely decorated and was immaculately clean. We stayed in room 10 which was a very pleasant ground-floor room just off the main dining area. The bed was comfy, the bathroom spacious and most importantly, the room was kept lovely and clean. Food in the hotel was absolutely delicious and was to be commended. We both had leek & potato soup to start, followed by cod, and both were fresh-tasting and worthy of any fine dining restaurant anywhere. For breakfast the next day we had scrambled egg and smoked salmon on sourdough and this was just as nice, along with a good range of cereals and yoghurt that we helped ourselves to. Lastly, the service we received at check-in and while dining in the restaurant was brilliant. Amy was lovely and made us feel very welcome, as was the young man who was also serving whose name I unfortunately didn’t get. They are both an asset to the place. I’d highly recommend the Coach House and look forward to coming back sometime."

I replied, "Our room had such a high and big window, it probably couldn't hold inmates..." But perhaps because it was a fire station and police station, the yang energy was so strong that I woke up sweating profusely three nights even with the air conditioning off; the local nighttime temperature was close to zero degrees Celsius..."
