"The place initially had ac amd internet, but both went out after my husband arrived. He was staying at this hotel due to the recent hurricane stopping his electricity and they said they had electricity. When I attempted to contact the supervisor about changing his room , I continuously got hung up on and the front desk rep stopped answering my calls. I would never suggest anyone to stay at this hotel, and my family and i would never stay here again."

"5th time visiting this hidden gem! Arrived with family and they were not disappointed. Private villas within feet of the calm Caribbean sea! My favorite bartender, Georgia was happily serving another family. We warmly embraced and I asked for my usual "Dirty Banana" thee best in all of Negril! Room accommodations at the Lower Jungle were perfect. Rooms were clean, cool and efficient for our needs! Book now you won't be disappointed! Staff feels like family!!"

"Absolut havde den bedste tid på Rock House!Der er ikke noget, jeg ikke elskede, og jeg vil anbefale det i et hjerteslag.Vores værelse var det mindst dyre, og mens lille, mødte vores behov.En dag ville jeg elske at blive i en af villaerne, der ser havet! Husholdning var fremragende.Grundlaget er ekspansivt, og klippeudsigterne og adgangen til vandet er fantastisk.Du kan bare sidde på en stuestol hele dagen og kigge ud over vandet.Personalet er alle sødt og vidunderligt. Gæsterne er overalt, og alle var venlige og venlige. "We stayed at XYE Resort January 22, 2023 for 39 days. This is our favorite home away from home. We have stayed here for 10+ years even before it was XYE. If you’re expecting a 5 star resort for a 3-4 star price you might be disappointed. However, you will get a clean room with AC and fan, a small refrigerator, a safe for valuables, a TV and private bathroom. A comfortable bed and most of all a short 2 mins walk to the beach. The staff are friendly and there is a security guard present. We love the garden rooms with their small balconies. These are small duplexes and you will share the balcony with the other room. Our entertainment is sitting on our balcony and greeting the occasional people walking thru the lane to the beach in the morning, while having coffee and listening to roosters crowing. In the evening we enjoy listening to tree frogs and visiting with friends and listening to our own music. And of course most of all walking to The beach without having to cross a road. Going for a swim or just walking up and down the beach. There are beach chairs you can sit in under a sea grape tree or pull it out into the sun and look out at the Chrystal blue sea and people passing by on the beach. The restaurant and bar has good food and drinks. We like to eat there sometimes but also like walking the beach to other venues nearby or down the beach for food and drinks. There are only approximately 15 rooms so your beach isn’t crowded and it’s quiet and relaxing. But once while we were there, a very loud music party next door at Chances Pizza. Good news it was only for 1 night. The new Hilo grocery store is a 10 minute walk from XYE and there is a cambio if needed in the pharmacy and a bank there has an ATM. Plus there are shops and restaurants nearby. XYE is not for everyone. If you want simple clean accommodations without a lot of people and be right on the beach and don’t mind a small room, this is the place. We have already booked for next year. ❤️"
